Black and white also stay in my mind. They reflect a darker mood I had recently, more reflective, even a bit heavy. But this project isn’t about sinking into sadness. It’s about awareness. A reminder that we can’t ignore what’s happening to the world. We don’t all need to become environmental warriors, but we do need to stay conscious. This is our future. Let’s not destroy it by ignoring the present.

I used the analogue posters I made earlier and developed them digitally, choosing a colour palette that fit the design. This was part of our Color Theory module and a great way to see how colours can support and strengthen a visual message.

My conclusion is that I'd like to use the Courier typeface for the word Anthropocene.

Then I made a portrait collage trying to make a balanced composition. I kept the lively more colourful section in the bottom left branching out. I used a photocopy and cut out of my bee thumbnails.

Sharing my new work! - Logo design for Audio Forest, a music samples Ecommerce store. The logo is inspired by audio waves that are rotated 90 degree to form an abstract tree. Getting a second look at it I’m starting to realise that this kind of still mood and atmosphere is not what I want my music festival to feel like for my target audience. Now that I am looking at Risograph, I’m starting to have a look at where that takes me.
