oh boy, it's been a few good (read: exhausting) months since I have posted here. How have you been? Doing okay? Holding up? good, good, that's all we can do right now. I hope this new year does not bring anymore surprises with it because trust me I've had enough of those. Currently trying to get my notes of organs of immune system done without any success before my class at 2 pm.
also look at my head band! isn't she pretty? :")
does anyone have a directory of studyblr networks? i can’t find any active ones and i’d love to be part of one!
To celebrate the milestone of 1k followers on this blog, we are opening the member applications for the network!!!

Get your original posts on here
— RULES FOR APPLICATION
Follow @koreanstudynetwork.
Reblog this post (likes will be assumed as bookmarks)
You must be studying Korean. It doesn’t matter if you’re taking classes or learning on your own, if you’re beginner or already know a lot of korean.
— MORE INFO ABOUT APPLICATION
Applications will be both for members and admins. Both members and admins will have the same benefits I said before, but admins will help me keep the network updated, reblogging the members posts and etc, and will also help thinking of challenges, events, and other things we can do here with all the members.
Applications open on SEPTEMBER 4, 2019 and close on SEPTEMBER 8, 2019. After that, I’ll make a post and send a message to everyone who was accepted.
We will only accept around 15 new members.
Read more info on the application page (the link for the application form is there as well)
— INFORMATION FOR MEMBERS
If you are already a member of the network, please answer this form!! All members must answer it so I can know if you guys want to stay as members of the network.
If you have any doubts, please message us!

last week, i recorded myself singing. it wasn't particularly spectacular -- i haven't sung much after performing in choir when i was 10. (i'm 17.)
the recording wasn't great. while practicing, my voice didn't always do what i want. i stumbled on the lyrics. i missed notes and randomly shifted keys at time. but by the end of the two hours, i produced a recording worthy of my pride, as arbitrary as it sounds.
it wasn't great. leave it to zac efron & zendaya to sing rewrite the stars, not me. but i felt so /free/. i forgot what it was like to create with my voice. oh, how it wonderful it feels to carve sculptures and bend emotions with the slightest vibrato. it reminded me that music is not something unattainable. oftentimes, i feel discouraged with music. as an instrumental musician, i struggled without "true classical training" like my peers, and i internalized feelings of inferiority. lots of imposter syndrome both inside the rehearsal and any time i sing.
granted, there's theory and technique that i can /study/, but the music comes from me. and that's enough.
connect with me on instagram!
