Hello everyone, I wanted to post a super easy diy to spice up a Muji (or any) pencil case. This is obviously a basic idea but I sincerely think it works pretty well.

I’m following the six week summer detox made by @edvcate and my first order of business was getting rid of old stationary supplies! I decided to make a custom drawer organizer to hold my good supplies. I used cardboard, hot glue, acrylic paint and a little imagination for this project! Can’t wait to use it at college this fall ✏️💕

Here’s my study supplies folder I just finished! It was red and I colored it gold with a sharpie, lol. The post-it notes are glued onto the pockets to I can easily pull one off when I need it! The ziploc bag is stapled to the back of the folder and hold my washi tapes. Stickers and other decor I use for bullet journaling or notes are in the pockets 😊📚
My college sent me stickers and window clings in this cute container! I redecorated the sides to use on my desk at college next year! It’s holding my washi tape collection 😊

quick and dirty (but cute!) way to bind your printouts
Since I had a bunch of lecture notes to take care of, I decided to expand a little on my previous post and do a proper step-by-step tutorial this time.
You will need:
the sheets you want to bind (duh!), provided that they have about a 2cm margin on the side where the binding is going
a hole punch
curling ribbon (I assume this is the cheaper and more readily available option but any kind of sturdy thread can do)
masking tape (if it's cute, it's better! I got mine at Tiger for 1€)
(optional) an extra sheet to use as cover, and/or another as back cover
I was tired of the copy store charging two extra euros for a plastic spiral binding, so I decided to simply punch holes through my photocopies, bind them with common curling ribbon, and then cover it with tape which wraps around the whole paper stack on the short side in order to make the binding tighter.
If you google a little, there are plenty of tutorials to bind your own books using glue and thread, but they are a tad bit more messy and time consuming - this is the very quick and dirty version (which doesn't mean you can't make it pretty with decorative tape and colorful paper for your cover), but I think it's enough for school texts you're going to use and abuse anyway :)
