Aaliyah's final film, "Queen Of The Damned" is released February 22, 2002. The film was directed by Michael Rymer, based on the third novel of Anne Rice's The Vampire Chronicles series, The Queen of the Damned. This film was dedicated to Aaliyah after her death 6 months prior; and at first no one was certain if the film would be released out of respect to the family.
