Direct from San Diego Comic-Con, AMC Global Media dropped the news horror and dark-fantasy fans have been practically begging the ancestors for: AMCâs Interview with the Vampire is returning for Season 4. But in true Anne Rice fashion, the series is shedding its skin once again. Following the rock-and-roll chaos of The Vampire Lestat, Season 4 is officially rebranded as Anne Riceâs Queen of the Damned.
And alongside the announcement? A debut teaser trailer that will send absolute shivers straight down your spine.

The short, haunting teaser puts Sheila Atimâs ancient, slumbering monarch Akasha front and centerâand she isn't offering a peace treaty.
"You have called to me, not knowing my name. You, with your dresses stained, your faces down in the mud. I have heard you... Do not let them shape you into the size of their cage. Women, get up out of the ditches where they have thrown you... Kill them all."
If Lestatâs idea of power was playing stadium rock concerts to a crowd of screaming mortals, Akashaâs idea of power is apocalyptic re-alignment.

Found one of my veery old sketches of Marius and Amadeo (think it is 15 years old)
I had not much hope about how the show would portait Marius, so I was not THAT dissapointed (LOL) I remember back when I did read The Vampire Lestat 25 years ago I first loved Marius character because of his relationship with Lestat.
He unburies and helps him genuinely because he wants to do so and has some kind on fatherly mentor role. Here is despicted as an inpatient petty jealous asshole. Very much for the most patient of inmortals, as Lestat describes him in the books...
About the "rotten boy" comment, as the show has proclaimed one time and another, the story teller is ALWAYS biased while explaining his side of the story, sooo, maybe the "rotten boy" statement is a Lestat's statement put in Marius mouth...jut my guess...
