Principal photography, which is the phase that involves actively shooting the scenes in the script, begins for Aaliyah’s 2nd and final film; Queen Of The Damned.
Filming started October 2, 2000 and wrapped up February 27, 2001 in a former biscuit factory, converted into a studio in the Melbourne suburb of St. Albans.
Location filming took place around the city of Melbourne, although some filming was done in Los Angeles.
Queen of the Damned was released on February 22, 2002 in the United States and Canada.

When I made the list for Fanguary I wanted to make it more diverse. The first one coming to mind being the Queen herself played by the late Aaliyah. Let it be known that I never want to draw this much jewellery for another month or more because holy god it made me curse. However, I think I can admit, I kinda cooked.

So I love vampire movies- not the twilight junk vampires don’t sparkle but I did read a bunch of Anne Rice stuff as a kid- watched every crappy action vampire flick I could I just like ‘em for some reason 😂 Both sides of every story, the vampire and slayer.
