Hi, everyone!  I wanted to make another announcement about commissions.  Now that I’ve gotten some experience doing commissions, I’ve decided to revise my rules and guidelines for commissions. Please read this if you plan on commissioning me.

Writing Commission Guidelines/TOS in Plain Text

* Please read this if you plan on commissioning me! * 

Under each bolded text is the explanation/elaboration. These all are under USD currency. 

♡ Each 1k of words is $10.

This includes all the brainstorming, drafting, as well as the revision I do after a draft is complete. If it’s a drabble of around 500k or less, then it’ll be around $. The rate would be the X.Xk words multiplied by $10 (ex: 3.6k * $10 = $36)! Please understand that this price is set as such to reflect the minimum standard rate in the writing community as well as my skill and experience.

♡ You may have up to 3 revisions. Any revisions past that will add a fee of $10 per revision.

Revisions take extra time for me to do, so if you want changes, I’m willing to accommodate, but past 3 revisions I’ll charge extra. Unless I explicitly classify the revision as minor, the fee always applies.

♡ 50% payment upfront and 50% after completion. Payment is done preferably through Paypal or Venmo, but Ko-Fi works too in a pinch.

This ensures the security of both sides. 

In the case that the final price of the commission is unknown/unclear, I will ask you to pay the highest value of the possible price at 50%; then, after the commission is completed, you pay the difference to the final total price, whether that’s the other 50% or less. 

Please see the following example for clarification. 🟌 Estimated total length of commission is from 2-3k. 🟌 3k words = $30. $30/2 = $15. 🟌 You pay $15 upfront. 🟌 When the commission is completed, if the length is 2.4k, the total price is $24. 🟌 The difference between $24 and $15 is $9. 🟌 You pay $9 when the fic is completed in addition to the initial payment of $15. 

♡ I can write imagines, drabbles, fics, and I can accommodate you to the genre you’re hoping for. If the parameters of your request are not listed, DM me to ask. ✶ NSFW: OK ✶ Gore/Blood: Minimal ✶ OCs: OK ✶ Problematic Content/Fetishes: OK (but DM me, it depends on the content!)

♡ I do take commissions for original works/character(s). 

I most often write fanfiction, but if you would like me to write a story for an original work/character(s), you can ask me about it and give me the details of your request so I can assess whether I feel comfortable and able to write it or not. Depending on the situation, you may be asked to pay extra, since I’ll have to learn/develop your character(s) and setting. 

♡ Give me all relevant information at the start; I can edit the work later, but you may be charged additional fees for extra revisions.

You can give me as much or as little detail about your commission as you like, but depending on the content, I may and likely will ask clarifying questions so I can understand what it is you’re hoping for or expecting. Or you can leave it up to my artistic license and see if I come up with something you like (but if you end up disliking it, you will still pay 75% the price of the commission).

♡ I do not accept deadlines of less than one month. 

I sometimes have poor mental health and other real-life problems to deal with. If you cannot wait at least a month for your commission to be completed, do not commission me. It may take up to a few months, depending on the situation. In the unlikely case that a year passes and the commission is not complete, I will take half the price of what has been completed and refund the rest if you paid more than half.

♡ If you have a suggested/preferred date by which you would like it to be completed, you must notify me in advance so I can plan ahead. 

In the case that I must push back the completion date, if you no longer want the commission, you must pay half the price of what has been completed. If you do not tell me of a date and later ask me to finish it by that time, I will kindly tell you that I cannot finish it by that date. If you no longer want the commission, you will pay half the price of what has been completed. If you still want it, I will do my best to finish it and you will pay the remaining part of the total price when it is completed.

♡ I can brainstorm characters/ideas with you.

If you’d like advice or for me to brainstorm characters/ideas/stories with you, you may pay a consultation fee. It starts with a fixed price of $10; each extra half-hour we spend talking will be another $5. Please reach out to me so we can schedule a time to talk. I’m also flexible with how you want to work with me, but the price will then also be flexible. 

I am open to writing/art trades! Send me a proposal with the same format as the commission information if you’re interested.

If you decide to commission me, you are confirming the following:

✧ You are not asking me to write in any other style but my own.

✧ You have the capability and willingness to compensate me for my work.

✧ You acknowledge all rights to the commissioned work belong to me; you will share it with others only with credits and with a link to my page/original post of the work.

✧ You agree to be cooperative, polite, and agree to abide by my rules/TOS.

 ♬ If you want a commission for commercial use, you must say so beforehand. Commissions for commercial use are priced differently; discuss the details with me. 

I reserve the right to decline any commission/proposal for any reason, which I may or may not disclose to you.

Pronouns: (Specify your pronouns in case I have to use them, ie. she/they/he, etc.)

Fandom/Original: (Specify the fandom the commission is for, or if it’s an original work)

Characters: (List all characters involved in the work, and be sure to specify the main/major ones)

Length: (How long you’d like the work to be, or how much you can afford to pay for)

Prompt/Idea: (Your general story idea for the work)

Extra Notes, if applicable: (Anything else you want to specify or other requests for the work)
