im so sorry but i have absolutely no idea what your ask is talking about/what you're responding to!! i presume it's a post i made or some tags i left on a reblog? but i havent done either of those things in a hot minute so

note: userscripts are really easy to install and super helpful! you need a browser extension to run them — i recommend Violentmonkey as it's open-source, but Tampermonkey and Firemonkey work too. i'm using daylight could be so violent by Goldmonger as the example fic in the images.

AO3 Floating Comment Box by scriptmouse

THE USERSCRIPT EXTENSION EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

makes a floating comment box you can use to write comments while reading the fic AND allows you to insert selections of sentences/paragraphs from the fic!!! vital to how i comment (detailed explanation post by @actual-changeling)

the original extension simply italicizes what you select, but i've modified the code so that it italicises + indents for reading clarity, which i'll detail in another post. example: (fic is Cacciatore by @theburialofstrawberries)

w4tchdoge's AO3 Bookmark Maker

adds work details to bookmark notes for archival purposes, helpful to know especially if a fic gets hidden or deleted

Set Default Posting Language by @quihi

sets a default posting language so you don't need to scroll through the dropdown menu to pick a language every time you post a fic

ao3 Skin Switcher by BlackBatCat

switch skins from any page via the header menu, instead of having to go to dashboard to do it

i hate the huge multi-fandom wall-of-tags anthologies (excellent post about why it sucks by @osterby) so this is really good

hides works with too many fandoms on ao3, can unhide with a click

default is 2 fandoms but i've set mine to 7 as star wars fics tend to have multiple fandom tags

blocks works by tags, authors, titles, summaries, wordcounts

i don't use this personally but wanted to mention it anyway because it seems very helpful. also this coder has a bunch of other great scripts!
