So, I get to do this again!
I am reposting this in hopes that it may get more traction as I still have commission slots open. My family is facing severe financial distress still and some recent events have made it very prevalent. We kicked out an abusive family member that lived with us and it hit us hard money wise. I don’t talk about her much anymore, I’m trying to forget her, but it’s something that is still an issue.
I was kicked off my dad’s disability and until we are able to get me back on, or if I am able to get it on my own, we are lacking enough money to live.
My dad's health hasn't improved a lot. We're still fighting with doctors to get her on the right medication and at the moment, I am the only one working. My job is extremely harmful to my mental health, and I am looking for alternate places to work, but I have not been interviewed for anything yet.
TW: CANCER/TUMOURS. My Nana has recently been diagnosed with a brain tumour, in addition to her cancer diagnosis, that is pressing on the right side of her brain. The additional costs, gas/parking/etc, is going to add to our already hurting budget. I am hoping to be getting on my own disability but that can takes months for them to decide and staying under my dads means I am limited to how much I can work.
If you're able to commission, or even donate via ko-fi I can't even begin to say how thankful I would be.
I usually put what we owe for each but at this point we owe just about everybody. We still owe the mechanic around $600, our phone is monthly and I am behind on that about $200, I have cancelled as much as I am able too. I would love to get my kitten to the vet and for his shots but right now I can’t. It kills me inside because this cat is one of the few things that makes me happy.

Dad, calling from my aunt's hospital room: Honey, I'm here with her now, I'm here! In the hospital. She's here, she's okay - she's not okay, it's bad, her brain is fine, her cognitive is good, she knows who I am! Knows who you are, knows where she lives -
me: I know, Dad, I've talked to -
Dad: - she just can't talk, her brain is fine but she can't talk, no one can understand her!
Aunt: *complaining in the background*
me: Dad.
Dad: I can't understand her, I can't -
me: Can I talk to -
Dad: Here, she wants to talk to you, here, I - I'm giving her the phone, here's snarp, you know who snarp is? - she knows who you are, honey!
me: DAD.
Aunt, slurring but understandable: Hey. I'm going to kill Bobby - do I have your support?
me: Yeah, but I'm, like, in the wrong state to provide an alibi...
Aunt: *laughs* *affirmative noise*
Dad, taking the phone back: So you heard her, she can't talk, she -
me: You didn't understand what she just said to me?
Dad: No. What?
me: She said she was going to kill you.
Dad: Oh. Well, yeah.
It seems like being a victim of the eye gives you stress, bad sleep, and high blood pressure. Seems like it's victims when they do die, die of stroke.
Other Avatars and Entities are different because the Eye is attacking at their power. Like Breekon is a stranger and being known destroys that. Peter can't be lonely if someone is forcing him onto a conversation about revealing himself.
Although Peter might still have died from high blood pressure as his head exploded.
i was looking at reviews to find a nearby piercing shop and found this entitled piece of shit. but good on the shop for standing by their employees

Art may or may not be on hold and I don’t know for how long. My mother had a stroke tonight and I’m not sure what the next few days are going to look like
Parts of my aunt’s brain that were clearly affected by the stroke: motor control, short-term memory, memory specifically of numbers, ability to self-assess how she’s doing.
Parts of my aunt’s brain that seem to have been largely unaffected: whichever ones are responsible for telling people that she’s fine, don’t worry about her, why are you such a worrywart, tell Bobby everything’s fine here, are your sisters okay? Where’s e_t? (Me: “She’s at... the beach.” Aunt: *grumpy noise*)
She sounded pretty close to normal when she was telling me she was fine and asking how everyone was. However, she asked me for my phone number five times, and going into Remembering Numbers Long Enough To Write Them Down Mode clearly made her lose control of her voice - when she repeated the numbers back to me, I couldn’t understand them. When I asked her her room number, she repeated the last three digits of my phone number.
(I think that asking everyone who called for their phone number and writing it down was an exercise that she’d either set for herself or been set by the staff. It sounded like she’d been working on spelling, too - she spelled out Dad’s name the first time she asked about him. Her voice was clearer on letters than numbers.)
She forgot which niece she was talking to at one point, and her voice went wonky when she was trying to remember my name. Went back to sounding fairly normal when she said, of the geekgene, “She’s crazy;” when I responded (standard line), “Well, we all are,” her standard “Yeah, true” was also fairly clear. This part of her storage, at least, has not been damaged.
Two losers go4nre from your life, we are loving this cleanse guuuuurl!
Who's next?
“...Are you okay?”
“Can you lift both arms for me? Alright, smile as best as you can.”
