Do you spend MOST of your time with people that you want to EMULATE? There’s an old saying, “you are the sum total of the 5 people you spend most of your time with.” 🌟🌟🌟 If you spend time with people who eat healthy and exercise, you’ll do the same. If you spend time with people who are INTENTIONALLY growing their business, you’ll do the same. And if you hang with people who are doing GREAT BIG things, it will rub off on you and you’ll end up doing the same. ✨✨✨ On the other hand, if you spend time with COMPLAINERS, BLAMERS and GOT-NO-GAMERS, you’ll end up like them. (And you don’t want that!) ✨✨✨ I think about this a lot, because I’m constantly striving to UP-LEVEL my business game. This means that I need to up-level the QUALITY of entrepreneurs that I surround myself with. People that will not only MOTIVATE me, but, SHOW ME THE WAY. People who ENCOURAGE me to stretch and grow. ✨✨✨ If I hang with people who are procrastinating and are okay with it, they aren’t going to help me overcome my own procrastination! On the other hand, if I hang out with people who are getting stuff done, it will light a fire under me to do it, too. ☄️☄️☄️ Recently I spent an afternoon with my good friend who writes romance novels. She’s on the fast track to publishing and she has written quite a few in the past year. We talked about book marketing and the earning $$$ possibilities of writing multiple books. She got me all fired up to move quicker on my own publishing. I realized the next day that spending time with someone like her is good for me! 🌈🌈🌈 The qualities I want to absorb from others are: moving FAST on projects, focusing on BIGGER and better paying gigs, and STRETCHING my abilities to do the things that I FEAR. 💃💃💃 What qualities do you want to absorb from the people you spend time with?
