Have you heard of a series called Foldabots? It was a comic series that ran in a magazine called K-Zone. In this comic, a group of transforming robots called the Foldabots battled a malevolent polluting entity called Lu-Sho and his army of transforming robots, the Lutabots. The series is rather obscure outside of its native Philippines, but it has a wiki, so you should know where to look if you want any references.
