i saw your post about not liking the tlou show, and while i'm enjoying it, you have every right to not like it and to criticize what doesn't work for you without anyone giving you grief. not saying you have to, because unfortunately fandom can be hostile to dissenting opinions, but i think you're valid and i'm still glad we're mutuals whether we agree or not (and remember to blacklist any tags you need to for your own sanity; i'll be sure to keep my posts tagged properly)

and i like the show so far despite having some griefs about it, but that episode definitely didn’t work for me it felt too forced and i feel robbed of a good story. and i know how much everyone liked it so idk. also really not trying to start stupid fights lol but im glad we are still mutuals too!!

5.) I think along with working on 3D as my new goal, I would LOVE really attempt digital painting? Backgrounds are just not my favorite thing to do. But looking at professional concept art is so so inspiring! So that's definitely another goal!

23.) SO I do always TRY to start by listening to something to help keep me focused. Podcasts, video essays, music playlists, streams -- but I have also found that sometimes my videos will stop, or music won't autoplay and then I just hyperfocus in utter silence because if I stop for a bit I tend to get distracted and lose motivation OOP LOL
BUT as far as a favorite, I happened to listen to the True Colors Lo-Fi beats for a while, I give it a high recommendation!

This Friday has been a bit of a low day for me, but I still wanted to share for Fab Friday. :) So here's a little snippet from my Regency story I'm pretty proud of: Her fingers found the limp chain with its broken links and she lifted it up to scrutiny. The sight brought a fresh welling of sorrow, but she let the tears slip quietly down her cheek. This, at least, was a manageable sadness. Only a lost, broken watch. Not a person. She blinked at the tears, bit down upon her lip.
Footsteps approached from behind, and she whirled about in surprise, clutching the watch to her chest with one hand, while the other sought blindly for the unfinished bouquets she had left upon the table nearby.
“Ah, Miss Jameson.” The vicar sketched one of his elegant bows, raising his eyes to her bosom. “You have found what I came to retrieve.”
A blush crept up her skin at the intensity of his gaze; her first thought was not of the pocket watch at all. Wanton, she chided herself silently, and foolish for such a spinster as I.
I am LIVING for this story!!! And that last line!?!? "Wanton...and foolish for such a spinster as I."
