Do you think there’s any chance of H and/or L telling their management they no longer want to do PR/stunt relationships? Would it really harm either of their images that much?

Like i've said before, i think PR relationships/bearding relationships are both a closeting tactic and a marketing tactic. I also think it's about balancing the gay and the straight presenting.

I do think L has said no to more fake relationships for both reasons, and i think he can because bg works as a closeting tactic (an even better one that a bearding relationship would). I also think L struggles to find someone to do a PR relationship with him, but i also am not convinced he would do that to sell his albums and tours. I think he's over it and not willing to fake it for PR with a woman, because he couldn’t do it convincingly.

When it comes to H, i think as long as H is as gay presenting as he is, that he needs to balance it with having fake relationships for bearding reasons. Since he needs a beard, he might as well double down and use it for PR as well and find someone who can fill both roles.

If H were to stop the gay presenting altogether, and present very straight, maybe he'd be allowed to stop the fake relationships. But i think H wouldn't do that ever. He needs the small freedom he's afforded being himself, so i think he accepts the need to pair him up with a woman. I also think he said yes to holivia because it meant he was allowed to do mp. It's all about the balance. H also needs a marketing strategy and a narrative for his albums, and they've always used his fake relationships for that. So they need to come up with a new strategy that doesn’t involve a fake relationship, that fans responds to in equal measure.

Who is "everyone" because if it's harries, then they're too up his ass to critizise him. The haircut is no good. He looks electrocuted from the front. I think we all need to cross our fingers that this isn't indicative of his style change for this new era. I don't think we can handle a boringrry era. I can't handle bland!Harry. I certainly can't handle people praising bland and boring Harry. People calling dirty vans a fashion trend? Really? Christ on a bike.

It’s interesting because Harry is the exact opposite of Louis in that respect. On stage Harry is overly flamboyant, while on a break he’s definitely masculine. Which I can see can be confusing for some. I’m newer around here and I saw you mentioned before that Louis is more gay presenting naturally, while Harry is hetero presenting naturally. I guess it never really dawned on me til seeing Harry all over the place while on this break and Louis today. It just makes sense. Not really a question here but just aha moment on my part.

Anyway it’s such a good day for Louis. He looks amazing, treated as he should be, and relaxed. I’ll forever laugh at him fanning himself with his badge all weekend. And yeah, I’ve already seen people writing fanfics about Louis & the driver. It’s funny how people connect Louis with men (even solo Louies) like people connect Harry with women. It’s all just clicking for me now.

Have you seen this video? Just watch how energetic and naturally flamboyant he is when he is around men and think he's not being watched! Also, i've never seen a straight man fan himself so seductively before. It's probably not conciously done, it's all natural for him.
