Untitled / Sin título About ten minutes after photographing the abandoned structure nearby, I stopped again along the highway for this view of Cerro Pan de Azúcar. The weather was heavy and unsettled, with storm clouds moving faster than the light below them.

I usually struggle with landscape photography because I’m less interested in scenery than atmosphere. This felt less like a landscape to me and more like weather pressing down on the land. Unos diez minutos después de fotografiar la estructura abandonada que estaba cerca, volví a parar al costado de la ruta para mirar el Cerro Pan de Azúcar. El clima estaba pesado e inestable, con nubes de tormenta moviéndose más rápido que la luz sobre el paisaje.
