I spend an unreasonable amount of time staring at walls, weeds, reflections, peeling paint, and other things most people walk right past. Every now and then I point a camera at one of them.

I’m drawn to curious things. Sunsets are lovely, but I’m just as likely to stop for a crack in the sidewalk or a piece of rusty metal.

I photograph whatever catches my curiosity. Some days that’s an abstract, some days it’s a bird, a tree, or a stranger sitting quietly in a park. Curiosity is not a genre.

Not everyone will connect with my photography, and that’s perfectly alright. Art is a dialogue. It begins when someone else looks at my photographs and brings their own stories to the conversation.
