That is good news, but I hope you know and trust your friend in Minnesota. I'd hate for there to be another bad turn just waiting for you, so make sure you have a back-upp plan if things turn sour. o:
I’m moving in with @warskunkwarroom. I’ve known the guy for a few years now. We met briefly in person at Bronycon 2017. From what I can tell, he’s very trustworthy. In the years I’ve known him, he’s never given me a reason to not trust him. Also Warskunk is okay with me wearing women’s clothing around his place. I can don dresses and skirts and nightgowns all I want. I would only need a back-up if things turn sour financially. Luckily, I know other friends in the Minneapolis area including a friend I’ve known for over two decades now. Still, you can never plan enough for finances.
However, moving away from my grandmother with peace of mind is worth the risk, especially now that I have many of the risks mitigated. Hopefully, I can start recovering from the psychological trauma caused by my grandmother and mom’s husband because I feel that’s one of my barriers to employment, and it’s one I can resolve with time and proper treatment. Thank you for your concern. I do hope this is a step to a better future and not another false hope like with the UK move in 2015 that I should have seen would have failed spectacularly from the start.
