tucked into the bottom bunk by the window, bishop seemed to be doing a fair bit of chewing campbell’s ear off, with his arms wrapped securely around the more petite frame. he’d been talking so much, in fact, about growing up and the memories he had, that he hadn’t realised campbell was drifting off until he felt the boy shuffling to get more comfortable against his chest. he’d paused, momentarily, until he heard the frenchman’s sleepy voice giving him permission to continue, to which he smiled at, kissing the top of his head and staying there for a few seconds. there was something so relaxing about being around campbell, it made the brit so happy, that he happily began to continue his story, voice quieter to allow him to drift off to sleep.
