Sage had been standing outside of Evie’s place for a good five minutes, doing their best to work up the nerve to knock on the door. They’d finally figured out where their half-sister lived, and was trying to figure out how to bring up the fact that they shared a father. They hadn’t want to spring the news on Evie at work or anywhere else public, in case this went badly. Which it probably would. So they’d decided coming over to Evie’s place was the best option. Taking a deep breath, Sage finally knocked on the door and waited to see if Evie answered.

Aoife cursed under her breath when she realized the person she’d just told off was a Tulach. “Sorry” she said quickly. “I didn’t realize it was you.” She shoved the file folder back in a cabinet and turned to give him her full attention. “Is that so? Well at least he gave somebody competent the job.” Maybe this way the infirmary would stay stocked on whatever supplies they needed. She nodded at his last question. “I’m the surgeon on the Raging Tsunami” she said, a hint of pride in her voice.

Genevieve knew she should have gone to introduce herself to the royal she was watching sooner. But she hadn’t been in the mood. Frankly, she still wasn’t in the mood. But when she spotted the American in the canteen, she figured she might as well bite the bullet. Approaching the table where the princess said, she said “Harley Abbott? I’m Genevieve D’Alessio.” She said it matter-of-factly, as if that explained everything and she expected the princess to already know who she was.

It was Friday, which meant a few of Daphne’s co-workers decided to head to Luau Larry’s after work for Happy Hour. For once, Daphne had decided to join them, since Danielle was with her grandparents that day. She was already two drinks in, since she’d gotten to the bar around 5. She was sitting at a table with her co-workers, facing the entrance. She laughed as one of the other detectives cracked a joke. But her laughter died immediately when she glanced up towards the entrance and saw a face she though she’d  never see again walk into the restaurant. Was she seeing things? Had she finally lost her mind? There was no other explanation. Because standing in the doorway was her twin sister. Blinking several times, she was surprised that Dinah was still there. Without a word, Daphne slid out of her chair and walked over to the other blonde. “Dinah?” she said, the shock obvious in her voice.

Lorne was unable to avoid laughing at the sight of her pouting. Finally, he shook his head and said “I’m sorry to say that I’m not kidding.” He grinned. “But there’s no need to pout. I can find something for you.” Lorne liked to consider Callie a friend, after all. “What are you in the mood for?”

Eilis spotted one of the Georgetown students in the common room on the third floor. Debating whether to leave the girl alone or keep her company, she ultimately settled on the second. Sitting down she said “Do you mind if I keep you company?” She glanced at the TV. “Are you watching anything interesting?”

“Okay, you got me” said Genevieve with a laugh. “I’m very biased.” She shrugged her shoulders. The point stood. She thought Roman had done a wonderful job designing the island, even if it she’d hope they would never have to use it like this. “I’m usually not wrong” she added. “Its a point of pride with me.”

"I appreciate that you let me vent” said Celeste. “Besides, its not your job to comfort me. None of this is your fault.” If anything, the Italian was more of a victim in this than she was. His parents had been murdered and he’d been taken much sooner than she’d been. “But if you ever need to vent, I’m willing to return the favor.”
