the end of another year at gallagher academy draws to a close in triumph, president sutton’s retirement looming as her students look forward to a long summer break away from the school ... until next year for some, and forever for others.
in a way, the end of the year party is celebrating this same optimistic sentiment. a celebration of new beginnings, and honoring the end of laura sutton’s fourteen-year dedicated reign as gallagher’s presdent. in other ways, it’s a reflection on the past two school years — remembering the heroes and villains of the academy, and the balance between good and evil that’s tipped both ways.
that’s where this year’s theme comes into play : saints & sinners, to remember those who have upheld gilly gallagher’s proverb of learning her skills, honoring her sword, and keeping her secrets — but also to forget those who haven’t. gallagher’s sinners.
it’s fitting, coming off the year’s final mission with caledonia exposed, and the double agents revealed. it’s in lighthearted spirits, but students should follow theme by dressing either as a saint or a sinner — just channel your inner moral alignment for some guidance, and remember to dress to impress !

out of character, this event will begin on monday, june 14 at 12:00am est and will last until friday, june 25 at 11:59pm est, when the group will officially close down for good !
in character, this event will take place after finals on the last day of the spring semester — tuesday, may 25 at 7:00pm, when gallagher will officially open its campus to the public. on the following day, a graduation ceremony will be hosted for all fourth year students, and everyone will have until the end of the week to pack up their dorms and move out.
non-event related threads do not need to be dropped for the duration of the week, though we encourage everyone to wrap up their threads by june 25 !
as chosen by the party planning committee, the event’s theme will be saints & sinners, with a black tie formal dress code. think : gossip girl season 4 episode 9, but without the masquerade, or the met gala’s heavenly bodies, but good vs. evil. just dress classy and look expensive ! here’s a moodboard for some inspiration.
the party will be held in gallagher’s ballroom. there will be dancing, an open bar, photo booth, and themed snacks and cocktails as refreshments.

( this bit is a present to kashia ) as president laura sutton clears her email out in preparation for retirement, she finds a powerpoint presentation written by an anonymous student on why and how gallagher academy can afford to hire beyoncé for a performance at their end of the year event. as a present of remorse to her students, and a big fuck you to administration for doing her dirty this year ... she depletes their event budget and uses donor funding from various charitable alumni families to grant this last wish before she exits the spy world for good. <3
