“Are you ready to graduate Steph?” your best friend Llisel asked from your bedroom “NO! I still have to do my make up, and I haven’t even started on my hair!” you yelled from your en suite, suddenly feeling rushed “no, silly! I mean can you really believe that we are finishing high school? I never thought this day would come! I’m so excited about the after party!” she said putting on her earrings from your bedroom.

“Oh! Yeah I know! It’s a shame that I don’t have a date though…” you trailed off “when you get there the guys are going to be all over you…I’ve seen your dress (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=68525196), your going to look HOT!” she said with I giggle “yeah, I wish…” you mumbled under your breath “pardon?” she said “oh nothing!” you responded.

When you were finished with your hair and make up you walked out of your en suite bathroom and waited for Llisel to look up. When she did she was gob smacked. She stared at you wide eyed for about fifteen seconds and finally spoke. “You look so beautiful, Stephanne” she said, looking like she was holding back tears “stop crying, that’s my mums job” you said with a laugh “and besides, look at you. You look like you fell out of heaven!” you said gesturing towards her with a smile “thanks babe! Seriously though, you look even better than I imagined you would!” “Yeah, yeah...” you said, ending the argument of who looked better.

The graduation ceremony started at 6:30pm and but everyone had to be there at about 6:00pm, to take pictures and get set up, etc. It was now 5:45 and you and Llisel were just waiting for the limousine, which held you best friends Jillian, Ashley and Kristyle, and when it arrived, it would take you to your school so you could graduate, along with all of the other year twelve students.

After a few more minutes of waiting, you heard a car honk out side “that must be the limo!” Llisel said, overly excited. You got up from the couch and headed for the limo outside. “WAIT!” you heard your Mum scream from the front door, just as you were about to get in the limo “I want a picture of you two grown-up girls!” she said with watery eyes. You rolled your eyes at your mother for saying ‘grown-up girls’ but stood with Llisel for a picture any way. “Alright sweetie! I’ll see you there! By the way, you look absolutely gorgeous!” she said, letting out more tears. You hugged her and stepped into the car where you were greeted by the faces of your four best friends. You looked at each of them closely, studying their outfits.

  When you walked into the school grounds with your four best friends, you suddenly got a rush of excitement and butterflies started to explode in your stomach. All of the girls were greeted by their dates, Jillian was collected by her boyfriend Harry, Ashley was taken by her guy best friend Louis, Kristyle was having her picture taken with her date, Liam and Zayn was sweet talking Llisel, making her blush, which left you all alone. You decided to walk inside and take your seat, waiting for the ceremony to start.

  At the after party, just like the arrival and the graduation ceremony, all of your friends had left you sitting by your self all alone. After about an hour, you felt someone sit down beside you. You looked over only to be met by a set of gorgeous blue eyes and a thick nest of blonde hair. “Haven’t got a date?” he said to you, it becoming clear to you that he was Irish, judging by his accent. “No. How about you? I thought I was the only one with out a date here to be honest,” you said looking down and playing with the hem of your dress. “Me either. Listen, how can a pretty girl like you NOT have all of these guys asking you to dance with them?” you shrugged your shoulders, hoping it would hide your crimson cheeks “guys don’t want to be seen with me” you said, looking at his face and taking in everyone of his features.

“Well, if your sure about that, I would like to show you that this guy does want to be seen with you” he stood up and held out his hand, giving you a warm smile. It was only at the point that you noticed he had braces, which made him look even more gorgeous than he already was.

You gave him a slight chuckle and looked away thinking he was joking but all he had on his face was a confused look “don’t you want to dance with me?” he asked, looking a little offended that such a beautiful girl would rather watch other people have fun than dance with him “I do. But I can’t dance. Like seriously, I’m really bad,” you confessed to him. Regardless, he grabbed you hand and took you to the middle of the dance floor whispering in your ear as a slow song came on “looks like ill have to tech you then-sorry, I forgot to ask for your name?” “Oh its Stephanne” you said giggling “what a beautiful name for such a lovely young lady. I’m niall” “what a strong name for such a kind gentleman” you said almost mocking his tone.

 At this he let out a laugh “hey, Stephanne! What do you know? You’re dancing!” you looked down at your feet. You were in fact slow dancing. “I have surprised myself,” you said leaning your head on his shoulder for a minute and then looking back up at him. “ I think you’re really beautiful”, he said looking deep into your eyes. You looked down, burying your face in his chest, once again trying to hide the blush that was creeping up your neck you your face. “Listen Stephanne, I was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me sometime?” he asked nervously “are you serious? You’re asking me out?” he only replied with a nod “I’ve actually never been asked out by anyone before. I’d love that. Ill give you my number after the dance” you beamed.

‘Wait, if you’ve never been asked out, that means you’ve never had a boyfriend, which means you still haven’t had your first kiss” you were highly embarrassed by his realization and looked everywhere but at his face. “Hey! Don’t be embarrassed! If you want I could be your first kiss. May I?” he asked leaning in.

   Was this really happening? A hot guy wants to kiss you? What? You simply nodded and closed your eyes, feeling his lips on yours. After a moment you pulled away, satisfied with yourself. “Are you sure you haven’t done that before?” he asked out of pure disbelief “positive. I wasn’t to bad was I?” “Your kisses are just as beautiful as you are,” he mumbled into your neck.

After the song had finished, you gave Niall your number and gave him another kiss, waving goodbye.

  When your mum came to pick you up she noticed your happy expression and excited attitude “you look very happy for someone without a date” she said, keeping her eyes fixated on the road. “Actually, this really nice guy came up to me and-“ you cut yourself off as you saw your dad and brother staring at you, both with confused and protective expressions plastered on their face. “Do you know what mum? I think ill tell you later…”

  HI!!! I am so sorry Stephanne! Some stuff has been going on with my family and I just went on a week-long holiday so I didn’t have any time to write this for you. Last night I thought I had to get it done for you but its not one of my favourites. So sorry for the wait! I can write you another one in the future if you really want but yeah. Sorry ;(

16 weeks of reading this comic has finally paid off! You were promised a unicorn, and you get two! Everything seems to be going swimmingly.... Surely the Centaur King has completely forgotten about Henry and Horace.
