Steggy-Ted Lasso AU, in which Peggy Carter wins an English Premier League football club in her messy divorce and hires the optimistic coach of Brooklyn College’s Howling Commandos, Steve Rogers. The only problem is, the Commandos is an American football team. Written for Steggy Week 2021.

Day 1: Favorite Era: The Future Wasn’t Kind To You, Was It?

Steve is a tired man and all he wants to do is rest. He doesn’t want to fight anymore, but he will if he has to. He just wants to lay the shield down and sleep, to let the ground open up and consume him. He can only think of one place where he can go where he might have a chance at a little bit of peace.

Day 2: Favorite Moments: The Brooklyn Daily Eagle Interview

After their wedding, Steve and Peggy are asked to do an interview for the Brooklyn Daily Eagle Newspaper.

Day 3: Favorite AU: Prequel Bring Her Home

One day this will all make sense, but for now, Steve promises himself as he watches Peggy being taken away by Schmidt from Chester Phillip’s arms, that he will kill Schmidt with his own two hands if he has to.

Day 4: Favorite Headcanon: Steve’s Problem and Peggy’s Two Part Solution

Steve Rogers had a problem and many men wouldn’t consider a hyperactive sex drive a problem, but when you pair it with the serum, it became a constant problem that made life just a tad bit more difficult. And all Peggy wanted to do was help her darling husband.

Day 5: Favorite Genre/Trope: Just A Drop of Time More

Steve is fucking exhausted. For the past five years, all he’s done is work, work, work to distract himself from the very fact that he was living in the future and everyone who knew and loved him was dead. Or so he thought because when he comes home one evening, he finds a very alive and young Peggy Carter waiting for him.

Day 3 (Favourite AU): A Stutter in Time, chapter 13 (Fanfic: 1945 Peggy Carter appears in Tony Stark’s lab, and immediately throws a wrench into everything.)

Day 4 (Favourite Headcanon): 107 one-armed pushups (Fanart: Peggy doing 107 one-armed pushups, to Steve’s admiration. Bonus Bucky and Dum Dum)

Day 5 (Favourite Trope or Genre): Extra training at Camp Lehigh (Fanart with a side of fanfic: Steve finally succeeds at the fighting move Agent Carter is teaching him, landing them both in a rather compromising position - which she doesn’t seem to mind, oddly enough.)  

Day 6 (Our Favourite Family): Life, Uncovered (Fanfic: ...and one time Steve caught Peggy naked.)

While I did not manage to write something for every day of Steggy Week this year, 5/7 is not bad, I did want to share the ones I did write, and do a little throwback to two I wrote last year that fit under the prompts I didn’t fill this year.

Some sadness to wrap up the week
