So Transformers Generations War For Cybertron Trilogy Siege (TFGWFCTS) has turned out to be a pretty alright line, huh? It is frustrating, but in spite of the inherent annoyance of the line containing a lot of redone earlier-G1 guys, they toys themselves have been exceptionally strong regardless. I grabbed Ultra Magnus myself last week, and he’s great! Well, things are taking an interesting turn with that one, as the expected Optimus Prime version of that Magnus mold has surfaced, and it’s decidedly NOT an 80’s revisiting as everyone expected. No, we’re getting a new Leader Class version of Galaxy Convoy! There were hints at this previously, but the sheer blatancy with which this is just Cybertron Optimus Prime is a genuine shock! Add this thing to the previously-hinted-at remold of Hound into Cybertron Defense Hot Shot, and could the War for Cybertron in fact be piloting a stealth Transformers Cybertron revival? If so, bring it on.
