One thing I really like about witchcraft is that it can be basically anything I want. And right now, I want it stealthy. Does my house have vibes that there is possibly a witch in here? Sure, nobody would be surprised to learn about it (I do love vintage). But you look at my shelves, and there's no books around to show for it. I get them all from the library and write down what I find important in my book. Can you tell looking at my book that it's witchy? No, it's just a normal ass notebook (well, currently three notebooks I bound together with a piece of yarn). The few trinkets I have? Rocks and shells found outside on my walks. My altar? Hand drawn in my book.
I'm learning to walk my talk when it comes to where and when I'm spending my money (I value anti-consumerism/DIY, which isn't always a breeze to follow through with because I am a magpie and like pretty things, and I'm also somewhat lazy and scared to mess shit up sometimes). Shopping what I own means it won't necessarily be pretty but it will be used. And if it means no one can tell from the way I dress or what my house looks like, I'm okay with that. Witchcraft is not my identity. It's just something I do.
