I think every father who has a son preps himself and is excited for the time he gets to introduce his son to the barber shop. The first cut is a pivotal moment for every young black boy whether they know it or not. It also deepens the bond of a father and a son. He held it together for as long as he could and then as most babies do he went OFF! But I'm grateful to my bro Chris & @statzbarbershop for taking care of us. The shop is a pillar in black culture. It's where you hear what's going on in the world, get schooled on what's happening in the community and get put up on barber shop theology which is a unique worldview only understood by us. I grew & learned a lot in the shop and now my young king gets to experience it as well.
