i like to think vox and rosie are Too Similar to truly get attached to one another. don't get me wrong, they would be very GOOD business partners. almost ridiculously good, much better than what we have now with the vees and radiorose (who are better friends than business partners). together, they would Get Things Done, and they both would be reluctant to just get rid of one another for that reason mainly. they are A Very Busy Shark Man a A Very Busy Shark Woman™ trying to execute their master plan, and because there'd be little to no tender/complicated/soft feelings involved, they would become practically productivity machines. Rosie is perfect for backstage, Vox is perfect for front stage. when they come together they would snarl at each other after all their manipulations fail and then they would still Get Things Done.
BUT they would see through each other and not in a "you know me too well/you knew my game the day we met" flirty way but rather in a "this is an evil twin from my nightmares/from distorted mirrors room" way, with a lot of weariness and "this will end in murder".
oh yes. and they would absolutely sing Don't You Forget to one another, with strings and wires wrapping around both of their bodies, and them ending in an uncomfortable entanglement they would need to cut through with scissors.

this is most staticrose thing i have seen in my life
half-baked concept for (my) mediarose fic: vox immitating Rosie's voice. we know he can immitate people's voices. once he figures out how Al is using him and when he comes to him for fights (and he will), he would absolutely use Rosie's voice to taunt him / make him hesitant during the fights until Rosie and Al find a way to put a stop to it (through a wordplay / rushed deal, of course). ...also Rosie fucking Vox when he has her voice on. I don't think she is obsessed with herself, but I like to think she'd feel thrilled at someone being able to immitate her like this. i think she in general would love playing with Vox's screen and abilities and pushing him to try more of his features
rewatching this scene, the way he phrased it really does make it seem like Rosie was - for some reason - forbidding him to "settle this once and for all" and trap Vox in his broadcast. Not until "Vox's little power grab helped break [her] chain":
