Oooh! I can definitely understand why it would be frightening to still think about. I’ve has similar experiences several times. Three times in my own home, once in my aunt’s house and then once more in a cousin’s house. I can say I honestly ever felt really, truly scared about two of those five times because the energy I got from the figures was just so unsettling. One was in my house, I was coming back from the washroom and I passed the living room which was really dark but I saw someone standing there. I thought it was my dad but by the time I’d turned to ask why he was up so late, the figure had vanished and there’s was just this atmosphere of anger left. Like whatever had been there was mad that I was there too but I can’t recall experiencing that figure again. The second one to really scare me was at my aunt’s house and I was a bit younger than I am now, but nonetheless it was scary. My cousins and I were in the living while the adults were outside and all of a sudden a few of us kind of stopped what we were doing and looked towards the hallway, which lead to three other rooms, and there stood a shadowy figure. It was watching us and it’s like as soon as it knew we saw it, it vanished. Now I know it could’ve just been a relative peeping in on us but I also know that people have discernible features.
