After seeing centreoflight's yearly ship analysis, I decided to look into the stats within just the Alpha/Beta/Omega Dynamic tag. I also compiled a list of which characters were most often tagged as an alpha or omega respectively.
I made an ao3 post describing the data and how I got it here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/77338341/chapters/202480491

Hello all! Been a bit sporadic I know, but I've been busy!
The poll with the largest percentage was Buneary, with Fluffy (Soft) at 98.5%.
The smallest percentage was Wormadam (Plant), who was found to be Smooth by only 25.8%.
There were only 2 ties in Sinnoh: Mime Jr (Rubbery & Leathery/Skin) and Magmortar (Leathery/Skin & Smooth). However Magmortar did something never-before-seen on this blog, where the tie was EXACT down to the decimal (both at 23.5%)! As always, this evolutionary line continues to baffle our poketexture scientists.
Smooth, once again, reigns supreme with 32 wins, while the option seen least was Tacky/Sticky, without a single win to its name.
The full tally (including ties) is below the cut, and I hope to see you all when we reach Unova (whenever that may be)!

Someone asked me the other day if I thought the mbti type statistics were right, so I thought I'd share my answer.
Short answer: basically, yeah.
Longer answer: How are enfps meant to be 8%? I don't meet enough enfps for them to be that common, I reckon they'd be more like every other N type and he closer to the 5% mark. I think the extra 3% is from Esfps and entps who seem like Ns and Ss - easy mistake, definitely been there.
But yeah, although it surprises people, *stps are actually pretty rare, and that would explain why I know so few!
Tl;dr : enfps are rarer than they say I reckon. And some S types are rare! *gasps*

Hello, and once again thank you for participating!
The poll with the largest percentage was Taillow and Swellow, with Feathery at 96.3%.
The smallest percentage goes to Sableye, who was declared Smooth with only 21.5% of votes.
There were four ties in Hoenn: Gulpin (Slimy & Rubbery), Shuppet (Smooth and Fluffy (Soft)), Dusclops (Vaporous and Rough) and Clamperl (Smooth & Rough).
Several times a poll was very close to being a tie, the most notably being Breloom which was only 0.2% off from the required amount!
Smooth is still the #1 texture for Pokemon with 37 wins, while the option that won the least in Hoenn was Tacky/Sticky, only winning twice.
The full tally (including ties) is below the cut, and I hope to see you all in the new year!
The poll with the largest percentage was Geodude and Graveler, who were declared Rough by 97.2%!
Conversely, the poll with the smallest percentage that won was the infamously split Magmar poll, resulting in Smooth at 17.7%!
There were three ties (where the top two results had less than a 2% difference): Seel (Fluffy (Soft) & Smooth), Nidoran♀ and Nidorina (Leathery/Skin & Rough).
Of all the options, Smooth won the most often, with a total of 40 hits and both Tacky/Sticky and Rubbery only appearing once each, in Gloom and Tangela respectively.
The full tally of numbers are below the cut (counting ties) and I hope to see everyone again when we start the Gen 2 polls soon!
Hello once again, and thanks for participating in the second round of texture polls!
The poll with the largest percentage was Ho-oh, taking Feathery at an absolutely overwhelming 96.2%!
Following in the steps of Magmar with the split poll, the poll with the smallest percentage that won was Magby, with Leathery/Skin at 25.6%!
There were five ties this round: Cyndaquil and Quilava (Fluffy (Soft) & Hairy (Coarse)), Crobat (Leathery/Skin & Hairy (Coarse)), Tyranitar (Scaled/Plated & Rough) and Azumarill (Rubbery & Smooth).
This round Smooth is holding strong as the top result with a total of 28 wins, while the option at the bottom is Tacky/Sticky, not having won even once this round.
The full tally (including ties) is below the cut, and I hope to see you all for Gen 3 soon!
