Hello, I'm new in here. I was wondering, can you do a scenario where the Shippuden characters of your choice reacts to reader being half-Senju and half-Uchiha who happens to be Tsunade's Grandniece please? Pretty sure Hashirama and Mito would be delighted to meet another of their descendants while Tobirama and Madara are having an existential crisis right now.
👀 psst, who gave you my OC notes? /jk
Doing a headcanon style post with this (hope this is okay by you) maybe could expand it later as a story or similar. With the OC being roughly 27-34 (so Jonin sensei ages).
He is having flashbacks of Tsunade growing up, regardless if she acts like her great aunt or not
While he acknowledges her skills and prowess, he can't see anything except a little girl playing nin (again flashbacks to Tsunade as a child)
Very doting and loving, doesn't care about or notice she's part Uchiha unless its out of respect for both his old friend and his great-great-great-great-grandniece (at least I think that's how many greats go here...)
He tries to bond in the brief time available to them though to mixed results as some of this time is spent keeping his younger brother in check
She is cautiously optimistic about the future of Konoha with such a strong shinobi in the village
Though she doesn't know if she (the grandniece) will become a future host/mother of the host of Kurama and it worries Mito
Even so, she does try to impart her wisdom on her descendant as best she could in the time she has
Will be busy keeping Hashirama from endangering himself, her, and everyone in 5-mile radius with some crazy expedition
His first instinct is to challenge her to a battle of Sharingan, wanting her to prove herself a "true Uchiha"
He begrudgingly accepts that her being half Senju as a good thing for her power level to excel past possibly even Kaguya's
Though he wants to be the one who trains her to ensure she is the strongest possible- he will NOT hear a word of how he is unable to or won't have enough time to do so
Will end up fighting Tobirama in a shouting match that could level the village with their voices alone
Hashirama has to hold him back to keep him from stabbing the nearest Uchiha (not grandniece, he doesn't hold her accountable for being an Uchiha)
He tries to keep her from Madara (and any other Uchiha in the area) so she doesn't learn from them (disregarding that she has Sharingan and needs to learn to control that/use it effectively)
He will notice if this upsets her and be apologetic for it, but he isn't ready to let go of all that hate for anything (but he can at least stop talking about it and being so rude toward her Uchiha relative)
Will try to train her in the forbidden techniques he's created to teach her what they were supposed to be for since the scrolls explaining the proper uses have gone missing/were damaged/were never made
"You will NOT touch her"
Very protective over her grandniece, despite not being good with kids- grandniece is the exception
Though this only started when grandniece was roughly 13-14 years old- when Tsunade began teaching her to fight/heal
Tsunade is so far removed from the vitriolic hatred of Uchiha to really care about that
Bit of a chaotic aunt, but also wants what's best for her grandniece and will do what she can to ensure that happens
Crazy supportive uncle trope- also a bit of a bad influence
Bolts as soon as he hears Tsunade coming, shrieking that it was like tHAAAAAAAAAT!
Might have peeked once or twice before he realized who he was looking at... then he vanished- that's the one line he draws (because Tsunade drew it for him and he quite likes his ribs intact thank you)
Does at least try to train her in various jutsu (under Tsunade supervision of course) when he gets a chance
Would try things- but he fears Tsunade more than anything (especially after what happened prior to her becoming Hokage)
Has offered to "help" her with her Sharingan, by taking them from her permanently (he might have given her decent eyes in return but...)
Respects her strength as well, but again- he fears Tsunade far more than he is willing to attack grandniece
Is respectful but otherwise distant since he can't help but think of the Uchiha Massacre every time he sees her
Seems like they are rivals on some level, but they barely register each other's existence unless they're working together
They have spoken about their Sharingan a few times, mostly so Kakashi could see how his eye was faring since the information has been nearly expunged from the records
There are times when they sit near each other doing their own things and get misinterpreted as being close
He is constantly asking to train so he can get a better feel for fighting someone with Sharingan
Also overly friendly as he is with basically everyone, always offering to bring them along for dinner and drinks or similar hangouts
Very supportive and trying to hype her up
They have been misinterpreted for a couple once or twice due to his actions more so than hers
Has been traveling with her and Tsunade for so long she's just used to her antics
Finds her a little annoying since they are roughly the same age yet Shizune feels so far behind
Often busies herself with Ton Ton to avoid her at every opportunity
Has learned exactly how much she can push grandnieces' buttons before Tsunade steps in (and neither has a good time when Tsunade steps in)
He is lowkey tired, he didn't sign up for a second Tsunade (grandniece isn't much like her but still)
Kept her Uchiha heritage a secret from Danzo so Tsunade could sneak her out
He knows she will be either a huge menace or the best shinobi Konoha would have to offer depending on how she grows as a nin
He does regret not being able to watch/help her grow, but does return to death in complete contentment knowing that she became a great shinobi (as well as Tsunade since both were somewhat his students)
He doesn't quite know how he feels about her, they have a very surface level relationship as coworkers
The fact that she's half Uchiha/half Senju means basically nothing to him, he has come to terms with the prejudges of the village and his own stance on matters
They barely talk when she joins in on plans, but they get along well enough in friendly terms
Occasionally they will train together, but Asuma gets rather nervous over her Sharingan
She has equally mixed feeling as Asuma does, not quite knowing what to think about grandniece
Though Kurenai does spend more time around her than anyone else (besides Shizune and Tsunade) so she knows more about how grandniece can be
She has said quite a bit about grandnieces' Uchiha heritage, but usually just basic curiosity about Sharingan vs other kinds of illusion/mind control kekkai genki
