The RK800 android climbed from the passenger cabin of the automated taxi, which had parked itself at the end of the long driveway to to address in question. It’s mission had been unambiguous, it’s purpose of deployment a secondary trial run. CyberLife wanted to test it’s newest, most advanced prototype model in another challenging & precarious situation in order to determine whether it was ready for permanent assignment. It’s performance during the hostage situation had proved promising, but the company was not one to bank on the potential of false positives. The Connor android needed further evaluation, & what better environment than the scene of a crime involving one of their own?
At 10:56 PM the Harrington residence had reported a disturbance. Their AP model android had allegedly gone rogue & attacked the family patriarch, a man who happened to be an executive within CyberLife. It was no secret that it was for this reason that this case in particular had been deemed an appropriate testing ground for the RK model. Were it not for the Harrington’s ties to CyberLife, the incident, like many others, would have been left to the police. The android understood this fact, though it factored little into it’s assigned mission.
The home was a flurry of activity as the android made it’s way up the drive, passively observing each individual present at the scene both human & android alike. A drone flew overhead, no doubt capturing footage for later use in record keeping. A PC model android stood at the entrance of the expansive home, which was blocked off by holographic police tape. A brief exchange was made between the two, the Connor android linking wirelessly with the other in order to present it’s authorization.
Inside it was a much more somber affair. Few officers wandered the scene, each assigned to a designated task. One was marking evidence with glowing yellow marker tags, another was taking a statement. Medical personnel were present though there appeared to be no emergency equipment on their persons. The RK unit was made to sign in upon arrival inside, entering it’s serial number & purpose of entrance on a tablet before it was allowed to venture indoors. Standard police proceedings, though the officer that signed it in watched it with a level of skepticism easily discernible upon his face. Connor ignored him, & immediately got to work.
The residents had been ushered into separate rooms in order to obtain a more accurate story as to the series of events. Connor noted this, yet it couldn’t identify any detectives on scene. It would appear that the company had pulled some strings in order to get an uncompromised series of data without the possibility of disturbance or contamination by separate parties acting in conflict with their test subject. Connor was unaffected by this small revelation. It made it’s task easier.
