I find it funny when people say shit like "All Baratheons are so muscled and handsome, how did Stannis end up like that?" Girl, that's the Targaryen genes.

modern! stavos on the brain... stannis wears a black patagonia fleece that he zips all the way up his neck to deal with the dragonstone weather when he and davos go fishing. he wears beanies that shireen crocheted for him because she doesn’t want his bald head to be cold. his long sleeve hides the beaded bracelet shireen made for him (it’s black and gold and has those little letter beads that spells out ‘daddy’). davos wears a heavy duty carhartt jacket with frayed seams because of how well loved it is. underneath he wears a flannel shirt unbuttoned over a plain white shirt. davos takes pictures of stannis holding whatever poor fish he caught for the day and with each snap of the nokia phone his scowl loosens by a little bit. then eventually he bats that ancient phone away and it’s davos’s turn for picture taking. stannis is not good at taking pictures but he’s been practicing by taking pictures of random objects in his house because he wants to take good pictures of shireen. they go to a small diner in the area after fishing and share onion rings. davos on instinct reminds the waitress for stannis’s water to have a wedge of lemon in it. they drive back in stone cold silence with the windows down to let the wind in
