@taylorswift here’s a look at me through the ages of your concerts. I wasn’t able to go to fearless. :( I WAS at the rain show for Speak Now though and that was MAGICAL.
My favorite show though has to be 1989. It was 1 week after my last round of chemo for Stage IV Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. I was exhausted and could hardly stand the whole time, but you bet your butt I did! To the point where I grouchy old man asked if we were going to stand the whole and the NICEST dad in front of us turned around and I swear to you said - “as soon as TS comes on I will be standing as well!”. Then he went and bought myself and my 2 friends (above) T-shirts! I wear it every night to bed!!! (well I wash it obviously)
Going to your concert was a joy that got me through the last weeks of chemo as they got progressively worse as time went on. The security at Gillette was even nice enough to let me inside so I could sit in the AC and not get a sunburn on my bald head (my doctor would have been so mad!). Everyone at @taylornation was so nice to me too! I can’t wait to see you again this time around.
I’m TWO YEARS in remission as of August 2017 - only three more years until I can shout from the rooftops that I’m CANCER FREE. One day at a time though!
I just want to thank you for being there with me through everything. I’m always able to find a song of yours to get me through any and every emotion.
PS I cant wait for this RFI music video. I must say when I’m not listening to you I’m listening to some sort of hip hop/rap and seeing you take your music to the next level HAS BEEN AMAZING. I cannot wait to hear this whole album!
