StageCon Coming to London This November
It has been announced that this November London will see the UK’s first ever theatre convention.
StageCon will take place at Shoreditch Town Hall between 3rd and 4th November and will feature appearances from West End stars like Carrie Hope Fletcher, Christina Bennington, Cameron Blakely, Samantha Bond, Sharon D Clarke, Sophie Evans, Cherrelle Skeete, Michael Xavier, Louise Dearman, Alice Fearn, Steph Parry, David Hunter, Debbie Kurup, Scott Paige, Stuart Matthew Price, Caroline Sheen and Charlotte Wakefield.
The event will be similar to New York’s BroadwayCon and will represent all aspects of theatre including musicals, plays, opera and dance. The event is hoping to even represent those who develop theatre as well as performers.
At the event you can attend live performances, sing-a-longs, discussions, cast reunions, panels, games, previews, workshops, meet and greets and showcases.
There will of course also be a “village” of stalls where you can purchase goods, merchandise and theatrical services. Vendors include National Theatre Bookshop, Zeat Art, The Royal Theatrical Fund and What’sOnStage.
A portion of the profits from StageCon will be donated to The Royal Theatrical Fund and the event will be presented in partnership with What’sOnStage.
More names, events and the schedule will be announced at a later date. To book tickets for the events click here.
A day ticket for the event will cost £85 and a weekend ticket will cost £160.
