A short fan comic illustration from the book āThe Bone Gardenā by Simon Beckett, this snippet is from pages 83-85 in the hardback copy. The Bone Garden is the seventh book in the David Hunter series, quite possibly my favorite book series of all time, theyāre all so good! I got excited and wanted to draw a short scene from the new book. It takes place in the Lakes District in England and Iāve never been there, though Iāve been to the nearby Yorkshire Dales, so hopefully my design here doesnāt look too wildly incorrect.
Anyway, the books are fantastic and I highly recommend them to anyone who likes murder mysteries. A tv show was made a few years ago, though Iāve tragically still not seen it because it isnāt available in the US at the moment, but hopefully someday! I used the lead actorās likeness in the comic though, he looks exactly how I always envisioned the character, so thatās awesome.
