So, for a short summary, Danny Ketch gets taken control over or possessed by Mephisto. Mephisto uses Danny to cause major havoc as the ghost rider to the point where Jhonny Blaze is forced to step up and kill Daniel. But before that happened Stacy and Danny were in a relationship (basically highschool sweethearts).

When Mephisto stricks she runs away to keep herself safe.....a year later after Daniel's death is when MacKenzie is born, after four the sudden murder of Stacy Dolan happens...leaving behind MacKenzie orphaned at the age of 4. Years later at the age of 17 MacKenzie and Jhonny Blaze is visiting New York, still haunted by the death of his brother. That night MacKenzie is attacked by Blackout who turns out to be the one who killed her mother. Jhon as the Ghost Rider is tasked with protecting her, as the fight rages on MacKenzie happens to stumble upon the same motorcycle her father had gained the sigle from and that night becomes a ghost rider.
