#spring break?

as much as media makes you want to believe there’s some crazy world within the thrills of spring break, in reality, it’s different than just partying for a week.

for those who go out drinking on a regular basis, they either head to the beaches to party some more or they’re smart enough to realize throwing house parties is cheaper than buying drinks at bars. in my case, i’m not even 21 as if that’s a real dilemma if i had the conviction to drink and i’m not in possession of professors who understand the leisure of spring break--MEANING, i was busy having healthy fun and studying over break because i have two exams the week right after.

but, like anything, you get out what you put in and personally, i wasn’t in a turn up mood that college kids are labelled with for spring break. sorry for the disappointment for anyone with those expectations. i was okay with staying home or going out to lunch with someone or seeing movies or having a kickback with my best friends. in my mom’s opinion, i was just catching up on rest and being thankful i didn’t have to set any alarms to wake up to.
