Me writing parts of the upcoming Split update.
I LOVE both of the IFs you're working on. Especially how you care as much about the MC as the more unambiguous characters of both Split and Vertex Fall! Lots of times IF authors seem to forget that the MC is a character too and is part of their story — the MOST important part, I'd even argue. But you nail the balance of making other characters interesting without drowning out the MC! It's so much fun (~‾▿‾)~

But on the downside, I can't simultaneously work on both IFs, unfortunately. Because Split's MC is so distinct, I'm afraid their attitude might rub off on the amnesiac too much. And I want the amnesiac MC to be much more molded by the player. That's why I'm currently in the 'Split' headspace, treating it as a priority due to how far along it is. But, ngl, it's tempting to jump to Vertex because I really want to tell that story too. But yeah, know your limits 🙃.
