One cool fact about where i live is that those little signs that tell your driving speed keep getting put up in my neighborhood.
However, i live in an area populated by inglorious vandal bastards, so the signs never stay up long. They eventually stop working and mysteriously disappear.
It's a fun little game. I see one go up and get excited. How soon til the raccoon people i live with get fed up with the sign and render its doom? How soon til the bureaucratic walnuts that be see the handiwork of their disgruntled suburbia village?
A sign went up last Friday. It's Wednesday, and already it has stopped working.
