SB!Garmadon: *gesturing into the distance where our three fire boys have a contents about who can make the biggest fire ball* HE CAN TURN INTO A FUCKING DRAGON!!!
Demick: ….
Demick: My point still stands.
SB!Garmadon: *taking a deep breath to hold back from strangling Demick* At least tell that to SPBNR! His asshole fucked up his whole base!
SPBNR!Garmadon: ???? How is that my fault?!
SB!Garmadon: You kidnapped him!

So I've done some art (and more art) and a written snippet for this AU, but I should probably explain it lmao- it's one of my favs <3
So, as the name so creatively implies, this is an AU where the Dorksquad (the movie ninja) were forced into positions of evil by circumstances out of their control. Unlike the Evil Dorksquad AU (which they are also not exactly evil by choice, just broken teens pushed to the edge by the cruelty of civilians), here the group don't start as friends and aren't one evil team. Instead-
Green (Lloyd) is kidnapped and raised by Garmadon instead of Koko- Koko tried taking him to Ninjago City as usual but Garmadon had his son taken back. Koko's been trying to rescue Green but Garmadon stoped her and basically blackmailed her using Green's safety (a bit of a bluff) to get her to stop trying to 'kidnap' him back. Green is raised in the volcano, his oni (and in turn dragon genes from Koko) a lot more active, and he's never been to the mainland even during Garmalarms (Garmadon is worried if he's out of the volcano Koko will rescue him). Because he's never been to the mainland, Green has no friends </3 and never met (most) of the Dorksquad
Red and Cyan (Kai and Nya) lived together in their house with their parents who were often gone on business trips, which were secretly involvement with two evil gangs/organizations. One day, their parents vanish trying to stop these two groups, and the groups come to claim Red and Cyan.
Red is taking in by a gang known as the Fire Snakes, a magic serpentine gang in the Sea of Sand run by a rogue sorcerer known as Char, Master of Heat. Char is the ex pupil of a kind immortal serpentine sorceress Aspheera and turned to more dangerous magic when she wouldn't teach him how to become stronger faster. Red is transformed using magic into part serpentine and is forced to be part of the gang, using his fire powers (and weak ability to use magic) to help spread the Fire Snakes' influence.
Cyan, meanwhile, was taken by the Merlopian Wojira Cult, a zealot group of rogue merlopians outcasted by King Trimaar and his two sons because they worship and are attempting to raise Wojira, one of the six (seven) ancient deities of old. Cyan is named their "high priestess" and her merlopian genes are brought forcibly to the surface (and made stronger).
The twins manage to get special days to meet up with each other, where they're trying to plan how to escape together
White (Zane) was blackmailed by Harumi (the Quiet One) into working for the Sons of Garmadon after Harumi promised to find his missing Papa, Whint (who was frozen by the element of ice in birchwood forest after it threw a hissy fit over being transferred from him to Zane). Whint was found and safely returned to Dr. Julien and Echo, but in exchange for their continued safety, White works as a Sons of Garmadon general. He is one of the few Dorksquad members to go to school as a cover story (his family doesn't know about his forced SoG double life).
Black (Cole) was similarly blackmailed, except he is forced to work for the Amber Mafia run by Master Chen and his husband Clouse. In exchange, Clouse used magic to heal Lilly from her deadly disease after she fought Griefbringer on the continent of Shintaro. Good news: Lilly's alive. Bad news: Black works for a mafia and didn't tell his parents. Black is Chen the Cheerleader's bodyguard (and spy for his uncles to keep an eye on Chen so he doesn't think of defecting). They both have the Anacondai tattoo and the threat of being transformed by magic if they disobey. Black also goes to school and has encountered White, though the two are aware of each others' double life and don't trust each other (as neither knows the other's story of why they're working for their respective organization).
And finally Blue (Jay) was not dropped off at the junkyard and instead was kept by his bio father, Cliff Gordon (who sucks). Cliff, who commits adultery once a day, decided to use Blue (the son of Libber, previous master of lightning) to further his fame, power, and ability to be the Ninjago equivalent of Zeus. He rents Blue out to different (typically evil) groups or people in exchange for money, benefits, and other such help. These groups include but are not limited to: the SoG (as both a battery and forced help inventing), the Fire Snakes (as battery and target practice), Garmadon (as battery), the Mafia (as battery, fancy decoration, and magic practice for Skylor), the Wojira Cult (with Blue's connections to Tempestas, ancient goddess of Lightning and Chaos, being a theorized way to awaken Wojira), and many others. Blue's never been to school or anything of the like- poor guy is just constantly rented out and is so traumatized. He is the only one who has met all five other Dorksquad members due to being constantly rented between groups.
So life sucks for all six of them. So how does it change?
Simple. A certain Smith (show!Kai) from another reality lands in their realm after a Megaweapon wish, learns of their identities, and becomes determined to set them free.

it was given to him by Kai and Nya when they were kids and they couldn’t agree on the name. Lloyd was indecisive, Kai wanted to name it Loch Ness and Nya wanted to name it Lucky because she wanted to give Lloyd luck and also they’d made jokes in the past about if they ever got a dog they’d call it that
in the ensuing argument they accidentally knocked over the bag and scrambled to put it in a cup. They then broke that cup and two others via shenanigans, the fish was sliding all over the floor and changed hands so many times and SOMEHOW didn’t dead, and in the end they just barely managed to scramble and get it in the sink
this fish is immortal but also has the worst luck known to fish kind. There have been several more incidents over the years and yet it remains unkillable. So they compromised, and thus named it Lochyless (luckless but with Loch Ness)
