When I was making tapestry designs a while back, I would take a design and run it through a bunch of color variations. The palette I came up with for autumnal colors may not be everyone's cup of tea, but man, I love how it turned out. It's deep, earthy, a bit gloomy, warm, and rich.
I definitely want to get back to making more tapestry designs.
