#sparkling stuff

but for me it's such a huge milestone

Okay excuse me if this is a bit all over the place! 

So my idea was to have a sideblog with members that would all act like NPCs or facility faculty. Possibly all being OC’s in specific rolls.

And people would be able to come to the blog and submit a post or an ask saying they were ‘dropping off a sparkling’ and designate it if its for a class, or a playdate on the playground or overnight boarding and up to how many days and so on and so forth. And From there, they interact with the faculty and leave, and then interact as the sparkling! 

I was thinking that there could be a running list of ‘attendees’ that works like a list of active blogs with active sparkling muses that would be open for rps with each other! 

And maybe they could make posts on the facility blog asking for playdates and classes. 

The mods and such on the blog would act like, teachers and doctors, offering classes in ‘fire frames and outlier controls’ and ‘Cybertronian music’. It would be open for ALL TRANSFORMERS FANDOMS, and ALL SPARKLING, to give everyone a chance to interact with others they might not normally interact because Kids!

It would be a protected place, like a space station or a ship specifically made to cater to taking care of sparklings, maybe even a small planet. So parents of sparklings, worried about their sparkling safety because of somthing coming up can have a safe place for their sparklings to stay.

But on top of all this I though that maybe, it could also be an orphanage. We all know how those greys get overzealous and like to hand out random sparklings to people, this would be a safe place to bring them all to. All the faculty are caring, loving mecha, and would raise them like their own kids, but they would all still be up for adoption, to those mecha who would like a sparkling of their own but can’t have one.

There would be rules on both the rp and meta level though for submitting sparklings to the blog, like, basic description and name, and once they are submitted they ‘belong to the blog and facility’ so would be played and developed by the mods until that sparkling is adopted. 

Its kind of a big project and Im still developing ideas and I DEFINITELY will need help with it. Especially since I’m such a flake. BUT IT SEEMS LIKE A REALLY COOL IDEA TO ME!

Just maybe...

Gasket absently rests a servo agains his abdomen again, wincing at the pain and remembering not to touch before settling it on a hand rest.

“Drifteh love, ah know yer happeh, and Fast Track is vereh cute, but ye been up since yesterday. Lemme have her, and you sleep.”

“I’m fine, *yawn* really. Aren’t I little one? Daddy is just fine~” Kissing her tiny face.

“Ye think ya are but yer exhausted. Sleep mah love. Ah’m beggin ya. Ah can take care of her on mah own. Ahm a big bot ya know.”

Drift chuckled, reluctantly giving her back to her carrier. “Alright alright, I guess you are right. I need to sleep.” Track whined a moment before latching onto Gasket’s wrist to continue feeding from him. 

“Sleep mah love. Ye can hold her more in the mornin.”

Drift smiles but doesn’t go far, climbing into their berth and laying down facing the two of them. It only takes a few minutes and the exhausted Sire is out cold.

Roadbuster -when he doesn’t have a gun in his hands- is very big and awkward and terrified of picking the babby up. He’s so certain he’ll hurt Terrorsoar, simply by being his awkward self.

Knockout knows that despite his size and his hesitancy, Roadbuster is inherently gentle off the battlefield. He won’t hurt Terrorsoar -not intentionally- and he’ll be oh-so-careful, so Knockout encourages him to interact with and get used to having Terrorsoar in his personal space.

Starscream is a bit more hesitant -- Roadbuster IS very big, after all, and Terrorsoar is very small. But he trusts Knockout and tries not to hover too much when Terrorsoar and Roadbuster are within a few feet of each other.

Terrorsoar himself is wary. He’s been taught from the start that strangers are dangerous and he comes up only about as tall as Roadbuster’s knee. His new caregiver is very, very hugenormous compared to him and that’s totally intimidating. But, being a small child, he’s curious as well and his natural curiosity tends to win out of his learned fear.

He wants to be around Roadbuster. Sire very clearly adores him -- Even babby Terrorsoar can see that Knockout treats Roadbuster the same way he treats Carrier. And Carrier himself is less jumpy and nervous near Roadbuster and more handsy and open when he’s around, more the way he is with Sire. Both of his creators are happy and smiling a lot and Terrorsoar likes being happy too!

So he starts seeking attention from Roadbuster -- bring him toys and demanding play or looking to sit by him during refuel. Roadbuster is still wary and nervous and avoids touching him.

Until one day, when they’re building with blocks and Terrorsaur is on his tippy-toes, trying to reach to put a block on top of the tower that’s taller than him. It’s kind of wobbly and he’s kind of wobbly as well and bumps the tower -- Sending all the blocks cascading down in his direction.

Without even thinking about possibly damaging the sparkling, Roadbuster reaches to snatch him up, easily holding the tiny jet in both of his big hands. As Terrorsoar looks up at him in awe -Roadbuster saved him from the block avalanche!- he realizes his hands are shaking and it’s not because of the near miss.
