In the spirit of rambling, what if I just answer all 3 lol switching Valya/Julia with my anachargestep poly as an executive decision because I love them and am thinking hard 🥰 so uh love you Aly enjoy walltext 💖
1. Who would end a heated argument by defending their actions with ‘because I love you!’ ?
Jasper/Ellie: Heated argument? Jasper. Easily. No thinking just emotions and sometimes that's frustrated, angry, AND caring. It would slip out, but she would mean it. It's probably accompanied by an equally heated kiss, too.
Orion/Orlando: This is hard lol I don't think they really get into super heated arguments. Pretty good communication here. Orion would be the one to toss it out there, though, I think. Less angry and more sad/dejected kicked puppy kinda way.
Valya/Julia: Separated this one cause it's canon lol I LOVE the hospital "do you have any idea how terrifying it is to be in love with you?" "So you really do love me?" scene so much. Valya finally confesses their love while arguing with Julia. Post crash innocent self-stuck hospital scene, my beloved 🥰
Valya/Anathema/Julia: All of them. I don't even have notes lol but yes they very much all would.
8. What happens if one of them gets sick?
Jasper/Ellie: Ellie is a doctor, so that's pretty taken care of! Or it would be if Jasper wasn't such a shit patient. She's a mopey sick who tries to stubborn and power her way through on her own. There's a lot of frustrated chiding on Ellie's end to try to get her to rest and take medicine.
Orion/Orlando: Good at taking care of each other, lots of rest, soup, and warm baths. Orion is the idiot who will kiss when she's/partner is contagious.
And here is where I had to stop halfway through to contemplate whether or not Anathema could get sick or not lol conclusion is probably not.
Anathema/Julia/Valya: Themmy often ends up being the caretaker due to their invulnerability, which is handy because they don't mind, and the other two are definitely getting each other sick. Valya is a shit patient, and half the time tries to hide their illness. Julia will also try to power through but is much more receptive to being told to rest. Anathema is spoiling both as well as telling them off for being idiots and pushing themselves too much.
14. How do their personalities compliment each other? How do they clash?
Jasper/Ellie: Both of these two are stubborn as all hell. They argue, bash heads a lot. Both think they're right. But it's also that same stubbornness that means they can put up with and get through to each other.
Orion/Orlando: they're both baseline easy-going, patient, and happy to just exist together. Orlando works a lot, Orion goes out into the wasteland for months at a time, but that's just how things are, and it makes being together all the more special. Orlando's secretiveness doesn't mix well with Orion being nosy and wanting to be completely and fully trusted.
Anathema/Julia/Valya: All of them value quality time together, all are a bit of adrenaline junkies, and all really do try to bring out the best in each other. Anathema and Valya get each other because of a kinship and fundamental understanding of what the other has been through. Julia and Valya are the same kind of wild and are matching each other's freak, mutual, mildly codependent obsession at times. Anathema and Julia have known each other the longest,
42. What’s their favourite type of weather to enjoy together? (getting snowed in together, watching thunderstorms, etc.)
Jasper/Ellie: Overcast! Perfect for spending time outside without getting so insufferably hot.
Orion/Orlando: The Whitespring is perfectly maintained, sealed, and safe, so there's no worries when radstorms hit. Stay in the room together and admire that at least the sky's are a very pretty shade if green.
Anathema/Julia/Valya: Thunderstorms for sure. Nice to get all cozied up inside and watch a movie and listen to the rain and thunder.
60. Who pulls the other closer when they’re sleeping?
Jasper/Ellie: Jasper! She likes to be the big spoon and will usually hug Ellie pretty close during the night. Especially if the nightmares are bad.
Orion/Orlando: Yes. Either one does it, sometimes both at once, and they just kinda sleep tangled up and hugging. More often it's Orion though.
Anathema/Julia/Valya: From most often to yes but not as often; Julia->Themmy->Valya. Julia is very touch focused and does like to be in the middle of things with both close, Themmy and Valya both find it nice and comforting but it's Themmy that has the confidence to do it thag Valya lacks sometimes.
