Continuing to think about Morgan's totally normal response to her telepathy, two things I desperately want to happen in Rev are her getting into Ortega's head and her getting booted out of Daniel's head. I'm not entirely sure how she'd react to either of those things (it'd depend a lot on context) but both would be fascinating.

I'm having vague, complicated emotions about how Ortega and Sidestep's relationship drops if Sidestep says they worked for the Special Directive (rather than referring to themselves as a tool or slave). Ortega... are you aware that they still didn't actually have a choice in the matter however they phrase it...

#fhr #it's SO tasty because like. they did not have a choice! they HAD to 'work for' the special directive!#i think ortega hears 'i worked for them' and gets an idea of sidestep as something approaching a willing participant #but meanwhile... yeah no they had no say in it. NOT working for the special directive was not an option #i feel like it's tied into how ortega is clearly separating sidestep from re-genes in general in their mind?#like... sidestep isn't LIKE the special directive. they're Different. and sidestep saying they worked for them complicates that #idk. it's hard to put into words
