This is a concept for my placeholder for the website. i am working with squarespace as I figured it was the best option for me.

My thoughts on when making the placeholder is to create something interesting and something i want to continue working on. I am a general fan when illustrators and other portfolio website got a larger banner with illustrations across the entirety of the page. 

I don’t pretend to have it figured out.

Not life, not healing, not the mystery of being human.

But I do know how to sit.

I sit with the parts of me I don’t understand.

The ones that ache, rage, weep, and tremble.

And in sitting there, I’ve learned to love them.

So when you come to me - cracked, confused, half-hidden behind pain or shame or silence - know this:

I won’t try to fix you.

I won’t reach for answers.

I won’t meet your pain with a plan.

I’ll meet it with mine.

Because to me, being whole isn’t about being finished.

It’s about being willing.

Willing to stay.

Willing to feel.

Willing to be real.

And in that realness, something sacred opens.

Not because I healed you,

but because you were given the space to feel yourself fully, maybe for the first time.

That’s the space I hold.

Raw. True. Brave.

A place where nothing is wrong with you.

A place where being broken is another way of being whole.
