I need more of that porn fic. Porn star Ben I canât get enough of.
Your wish is my command. Hereâs part 3 of the Ben Solo: Porn Star AU. ;) (Part 1 is here; Part 2 is here.) There will be a fourth, final part coming (hehâŠ) in a few days. :D
I cannot thank you enough for your support of this crazy story! That goes for everyone whoâs left me such supportive comments the past few days <3
Rey closes her eyes and wills her heartbeat to slow tosomething approaching a normal rate.
And then, she decides to just rip this thing off likea Band-Aid.
âI⊠saw you last night,â she murmurs.
Ben frowns, obviously confused. âUm⊠no.  At least, I donât think so?â He raises aneyebrow at her. âI stayed in last night.â
Rey shakes her head in frustration. âNo. No. Not likethat.â Is she blushing? She must be. Her face feels like itâs on fire. Is itpossible to pass out, or even die, just from sheer embarrassment? âI saw you⊠online.â
She says the last word very slowly, drawing it out foremphasis.
It takes a while for Reyâs meaning to sink in. When itdoes, though, the effect is immediate and explosive. Benâs eyes go wide, andhis face â already pale to begin with â goes white as a sheet.
He stands up, and shoves back his chair so forcefullyhe knocks it over in the process. Â Itcrashes loudly to the floor.
The handful of other people in the library turn tolook at them, annoyed.
âOh, god,â Ben says in a hoarse whisper. He looks âsounds â utterly terrified.  âYou⊠youmean you sawâŠ?â He canât say the rest of the words, but Rey knows he knowsexactly what she saw.
Rey buries her face in her palms. This is horrible. âYes,âshe admits from behind her hands. âIâm so sorry. I had no idea you were in it,I swear. My stupid friend Rose knew about it, apparently, and said I shouldcheck it out.â
She chances another glance up at Ben. To her surprise, his expression has gone from terrified to furious.
âYour⊠friend. Rose,â Ben repeats, very slowly. His words are clipped and precise, likeheâs trying very hard not to fly into a rage right then and there.
Rey has never seen him like this. Just how much is there to Ben Solo that she doesnâtknow?
âUmâŠ. Yeah. My friend. Rose Tico,â she confirms, confused.
Ben picks his chair up off the floor very deliberatelyand sits down again.
He groans, long and loud. He closes his eyes.
âI am going to killher for this,â he mumbles.
They get kicked out of the library a few minutes laterfor making too much noise.
Not knowing where else to go, they make their way toCoruscantâs, a fancy coffee shop near the library thatâs open late.
After they get their drinks he gives her the wholestory.
âI filmed that series about⊠I guess it was a yearago,â he explains. He shrugs, trying to go for casual â like none of this isany big deal at all. Only the blush heâs had on his cheeks for the past twentyminutes betrays how embarrassed he is. âI needed money, and so I did some nudemodelling for the art department. Someone in the class approached me with thisopportunity because I have such a big⊠um.â He looks away from her. Stares downat his hands. He shrugs again and clears his throat. âAnyway. I took the job.â
Rey nods over her latte, hoping she isnât turning asred as Ben is right now, and trying to take all of this in.
âAnd I mean⊠Iâm not ashamed of any of it,â he adds.
Rey puts down her mug. âGood,â she says emphatically.âYou shouldnât be. You were paid for a job and you⊠you know.â She picks at thehalf-eaten scone on her plate with her fingers. âYou did it well.â
Benâs eyes widen in surprise at her comment, but herecovers quickly. He looks away from her, busying himself with arranging thenapkins in the dispenser.
âUm. Sure,â he says, his blush deepening. âI just neverthought people I knew would find out about it.â He closes his eyes and shakeshis head. âI canât believe Rose told you to watch that. Especially since I told her how long Iâve been trying towork up the nerve toâŠâ
He trails off, and hides his face in his hands, groaning again.
Reyâs eyes go very wide.
âHold on a minute,â she says, feeling a bit like theworld is now tilting on its axis. âYou know Rose?â
When Ben doesnât respond, she adds: âAnd youâve been tryingto work up the nerve to do what, exactly?â
After a very long moment Ben sighs, and answers herfirst question. âRose Tico was one of the students in that art class. Which iswhy she knows about this⊠other, project I did.â He clears his throat. âWeâvesort of kept in touch, I guess. Though after I kill her for telling you aboutthose videos, Iâm not sure sheâll want to keep in touch with me anymore.â
Rey blinks, trying to process this information. Â
She had no idea Rose knew Ben.
Why didnât she tell her?
But more importantly, thereâs still something criticalBenâs not telling her. He hasnât answeredher second question yet and doesnât seem inclined to.
And so she asks him again, very quietly: âYouâve beentrying to work up the nerve to do what, Ben?â
He looks at her for a long moment without sayinganything, as though searching for the right words. Then he lets out anotherlong sigh, and scrubs a hand over his face.
He takes his glasses off, the way he did earlier inthe library, and puts them on the table between them. Reyâs eyes are drawn tohis hands again, just as they had been earlier. The large, broad palms. Thelong, dexterous fingers. His fingertips.
In his dark, serious eyes Rey sees a mixture of hope, nervous anticipation, and fear.
He swallows.
âRose has probably ruined everything,â he begins.âBut⊠I have something to tell you.â
it's time to think outside of the box -spacedarcy
This is from the fluff/angst prompt list. Iâm only about 2 months late in finishing this, and Iâm not super sure it meets either, but maybe falls somewhere on the mildly sexy flangst scale.
This felt like equal parts prompt and threat. So thanks, @spacedarcy, I hope you like it!
âThereâs no way this is actually going to work.â Finnâs voice crackles through her earpiece and she frowns, leaning out of position to look at him where he sips on a martini fifteen feet away from her.
âThis was your idea Finn!â Rose hisses back and Rey scans the casino floor until she finds her playing blackjack.
âThe boss said it was time to think outside of the box, and I didnât see any of you coming up with any better ideas, let alone ideas at all. Plus, we get to pretend weâre spies!â Finn teases, and Rey rolls her eyes when she watches him down his drink. If he has many more heâs going to be a risk to finishing their objective.
âCan it you two, does anyone have eyes on our guy?â Poe interjects, amid a cacophony of background trills and music, before Rose and Finn can have another lengthy argument over earpieces. Rey finds Poe looking harried near the slot machines where an older woman is poking at him with her cane, large cup of quarters secured in her arm and canât stop her grin at the sight.
Thereâs a chorus of ânoâsâ that filter through the comms and Rey sighs, shifting in her too high heels and too short dress. Sheâs been standing at the upstairs bar for almost an hour now while fending off advances with little more than a scowl. She has a job to do and it doesnât involve entertaining sloppy drunks.
All of this fuss over a bet between their bosses, the only catch was, the two of them couldnât participate any further than laying out the parameters of the bet. No bodily injuries, no arrests, no outside help. Whatever team got their item first, with proof won, winning team picks the location of their next âteam building conferenceâ which was just a fancy way for Han and Leia to treat them all to a long weekend vacation, at the close of fiscal year, while drunkenly going through teamwork exercises from google. Rey wasnât sure that it helped their companyâs profit at all, but it was at least good for morale. So here they were in a damn casino, of all places, trying to track down Kylo Ren, because he was the one from Hanâs team that had the item they needed, while Rose had theirs.
âThis is so stupid,â Rey grumbles, curling the edge of the napkin under her drink, âhow do we even know heâs going to be here, and actually alone.â
âLeia might have mentioned, a few weeks ago, before the bet even started, that her son came here once a month to play in the high stakes room,â Finn slurs before hiccuping.
âCome on, Finn, seriously?â Rose again, quickly closing out at the table.
I donât need a bodyguard! -spacedarcy
@spacedarcyâ This has taken a while. And itâs not exactly finishedâŠbut itâs going somewhere. Modern AU fluffiness. How did I get here?
Heâs run through half of his speech for the fifth time that afternoon when a series of short knocks interrupts his train of thought. Muttering a few more lines, he crosses the room, fumbling with the remaining buttons on his freshly pressed, tailored shirt before giving up and opening the door to his suite.
âOh.â The girlâs head snaps up from chest to eye level so quickly thereâs a possibility of whiplash. Sheâs no less befuddled by his face, it seems, for she asks, âBen Solo?â as if she expected someone else.
âYes?â
âYou donât look like your picture. Youâre olâŠyour hair is longer,â she amends in accented English, shaking her head like her mindâs an Etch-a-Sketch and sheâs reshaping lines from a new reference. âSorry. Iâm fromâŠâ
Heâs already pieced it together and finishes her sentence: âFrom my uncleâs shop.â Ben turns back into the hotel room, waving his hand in a gesture that she should follow him inside. âYou can leave the case on the table. Iâm sorry he troubled you to bring them.â
He buttons his shirt all the way to the throat, then takes up the ends of his black, silk tie, looping them around with practiced ease, only half watching the knot form in the mounted floor-length mirror. His eyes rest on the girlâs reflection, taking in how her white knuckles continue to clutch the stainless steel briefcase despite his instruction.
âIs there something else?â he asks.
She clears her throat. âLuke didnât tell you?â
He takes a deep breath. His uncle isnât the most forthcoming, living like a practical hermit holed away in his shop, surrounded by antiques and relics of eras long since passed. Ben had spent his formative summers roaming through the dusty shelves that smelled of must and decay â it wasnât a place he visited often, not anymore.
There was nothing to be gained by searching for answers in rare texts and historical artifacts, as his uncle had once wished him to do. Luke had been so focused on looking inward, seeking nirvana through meditative retreats, that heâd forgotten to look around at the suffering of the world. Ben, with his ambassador motherâs influence and his own companyâs impressive reach, was determined to do something about it. Global crises required present action and future commitments. Itâs why heâd dedicated his life to combining technological advancements with humanitarian efforts.
He smooths the tie against his chest, assessing the final look; he fiddles with the knot. âWhat is it?â
In the mirror, she shifts her weight from foot to foot in her black flats. Wearing khakis, a white blouse, and a navy blazer thatâs too tight in the shoulders and too broad in the waist, she looks like a kid dressed up as an FBI agent for Halloween. Her hair is the only kept thing about her: secured in a low bun that makes her look years older than Ben suspects she actually is.
âIâm attending the event with you.â

âWhy are you bleeding?!â -spacedarcy
ad infinitum// ao3
A life of bone blistering survival has taught Rey a good many things: how to lie through the white of her teeth, how to fall asleep when hunger erodes the lining of her stomach like soft metal under the sand, and maybe most importantly, how to hide wounds. On Jakku, any sign of weakness was as good as a death sentence, letting blood or bandages show a surefire way to find yourself on the receiving end of a blaster. And Rey knows that the Resistance is nothing like the arid planet sheâd called home for so long, knows that if she darkened the door of the medbay she could be patched up almost instantly, but there are some things steeped too far into her bones to shake, and the instinct to survive is one of them.
Which is why, when she loses her step navigating the scaffolding that crisscrosses the ceiling of their newest hideout, a mine-turned-base built into one of the many mountains that dot the surface of Talus, she hastily compresses the laceration that tears up her arm and darts away to her bunk. Out of the shadowy half-light that comes with the scaffolding the wound looks even worse than sheâd initially anticipated. Its edges are rough, torn jaggedly to reveal what few globs of adipose sheâd managed to cultivate since leaving Jakku. Rey bites her lip, grabs the (expired) sanitation spray sheâd lifted off the Falcon a few lunar cycles ago, and sprays the gash down before setting about tearing an old tunic down into uneven strips.
Itâs then (of course) that the Force flexes, announces itself with an absence of sound followed by the sudden appearance of the Supreme Leader, sweeping and regal in his dark robes. Ben turns to face her, cloak swirling around his feet in a way that almost makes Rey go dizzy, and thereâs a moment that hangs in the air when his face softens incrementally. It abruptly ends the second he spots the blood that wells up between her fingers where sheâd begun to close the wound, one end of a strip pinned between her thumb and the skin of her bicep. Benâs eyes narrow and he holds up a hand, turning to face someone she cannot see as he growls,
âEnough.â Dark brows draw down towards his eyes as he glowers past the far wall of her bunk, âweâll reconvene tomorrow at 0800.â Ben stands still for a handful of seconds, watching ruffled dignitaries exit a conference room, Rey assumes through the pain, before closing the distance between them with two long strides.
âRey,â his voice is gentle, softer than sheâs ever heard it save for the incandescent moments immediately following sex when he cradles her against his chest and nearly croons, âsweetheart why are you bleeding?â Sheâs too busy clenching her jaw to properly explain, so instead Rey shoves the memory of her fall across the bond, graceless with the pain that tears through her muscle fibers. Ben blinks, nods once, and attempts to pull her fingers away from the wound only to be met with a grip gone iron with panic.
âNo,â Rey whispers, heart in her throat as she blinks up at her lover wide eyed, âplease no.â It was bad enough that heâd literally caught her red handed, she didnât need him to see just how deep the laceration went, didnât need the full extent of her weakness laid bare to the man across from her. The bond must have let the sentiment leak through, as in the next second Benâs brow had knit, eyes dark as he stared at her from parsecs and parsecs away.
âOne laceration doesnât make you weak, Rey,â he nearly growled, peeling his gloves off with all the ceremony of a medic going into surgery. âSweetheart I canât help you if you donât let me see.â Rey feels her heart beating wildly against her sternum and reaches for Benâs presence in the Force, barely has to brush the surface of him before heâs sweeping into the memories of Jakku and its disdain for the wounded that sheâs pulled to the surface.
When he withdraws, blinking blood and sand from his eyes, the first thing Ben does is kiss her. Itâs not particularly soft, desperate in the way sheâs come to associate with Ben, a man made of lightsaber whine and rocket fuel.
âRey please,â he begs, eyes earnest, âI just want to help you.â Swallowing thickly, she forces her fingers to uncurl from their vice grip on her arm, and Ben rewards her with a kiss dusted across her jaw. Thank you, he mumbles across the bond, mouth pressed into a thin line as he delicately probes at the edges of the wound. Rey thinks, not for the first time (and certainly not for the last) that she loves him.

@spacedarcy
Tell them the tale of the Mighty Kylo Ren.Â
Sing them his crimson song.Â
How the Jedi Killer fell in love.Â
He was that darkness, the sorrow, the bite.Sheâd been the balm, the love, the light. The stars fell from the sky the day of his deathShe swallowed them whole, a nebulae in her chest. When twin suns were born,The galaxy quakedA boy, and a girlof an impossible make.Â
Rey loved them, with all of her heart. She loved them when they took their first breath, and she loved them when their cries pierced the night. Rey loved them even as sleep fell through her outstretched hands and she loved them most when they fed. Theyâd have a life filled with everything hers had been denied.
Her love didnât fade when there eyes were dark, nor when their hair was blacker than night, spilled ink in her womb had born them in his image, and she loved them more for wearing his face in a world that had forgotten.
Rey cannot forget, she never forgets, the force has bound her to him, even in death. It is pain always, but love most of all. She hears him in her dreams; his promise fulfilled. Sheâd never be alone again, damned to love the ghost of him.
She loved her children, even as they grew. Both tall, shadows of the seed, where theyâd planted roots.Â
She loved them when they left her. When they donned capes and masks. She loved them when their kyberâs bled.Â
She loved them when two crimson blades pierced her chest.Â
Donât go wasting your emotion--lay all your love on me.
