If you know me well, then you know that I LOVE tidy, organized, spaces (labels are a huge bonus). In cleaning out my dad’s I found their beloved “space bags”. I threw most of them out. In one of the baskets I found several more... ummm Game Changer!!! They might have been on to something. I vacuumed up my feather comforter and bedding and OMGosh! As I sit here listening to the thunder and rain and I look around my office at these spacebags full of blankets I wonder how in the world I ever amassed so many...and then it hit me...as a young girl I was always drawn to soft cuddly stuffed animals...they made me feel warm and fuzzy inside..they kept me safe and made me feel surrounded by love..As I grew it was harder and harder to rationalize buying stuffed animals...although on trips I could find the occasion to call them souvenirs...I think my obsession was replaced with soft cuddly blankets...as how in the world could a person ever use more than one or two at a time...I’m scared to even count how many I have...Can adults still build forts? Or tent cities in our homes? Hmmm Blanket Condo? Well off to run some errands in the rain...Have a great day my new friends...
