I honestly think mythbusters was the perfect show. It was educational, it was extremely entertaining even when it wasn’t exploding something, you didn’t need to catch the beginning to love the end, it was never focused on interpersonal drama to carry it through and you could tell that everyone really enjoyed what they did, it was never dismissive of anything each myth was taken fully seriously but skeptically, and to cap it all off they were always careful. They always made sure every precaution was taken, they always stopped when something went wrong to fully identify the problem, they weren’t afraid to say “hey this is dangerous we need to stop” and honestly more people need that mentality.

They’ve done it again folks. Literally every single character in the one piece live action trailer is either hot,beautiful,handsome,or gorgeous. They can’t keep getting away with this, I’m going to die of Sanji nosebleed disease.

If my sixty year old dad can find gay subtext in lord of the rings (he is adamant that Sam and Frodo have boned at least once and that rosy cotton was Sam’s beard, his words not mine) than you can find it in whatever classic story you want.
