It kinda fucks with me that Norn9 has 9 ability users in reference to the title, yet there are 12 (13 counting Sorata) main characters. You’d think there would be 2 love interests for each MC, but they decided on three instead.
If only! 😂
Let the combat tournament begin!
Have you seen Norn9 (2016)?

First Impressions - Norn9: Var Commons
Going into the game...
I wasn't really sure what to expect. Is this going to be a everyone's in school game? The main reason I picked this one to play was because I knew it already had a sequel so I wanted to know if I would like it enough to get the second game. (I will say, too, that upon starting the game and knowing that some of my fave VAs voiced characters got me a little more excited to play it).
Based on the artwork and double/almost double the amount of LIs...I was feeling kind of meh about the game, so that's why I decided to give it a run.
Top LI picks: Akito, Itsuki, Ron, Kakeru
Finishing the Game...
I still really don't know how I actually feel about the overall story. The whole plot was kinda wild, but decent in the end, though it was confusing at times too...
I was very disappointed in Ron's route because I was waiting for a big reveal to drop about his past and it was all just left as secrets (even though I still really loved his route)....This is also why I like to give myself time and do a good replay to do a fuller review and give my brain time to unwind from the disappointment😅
This was also my first game that had multiple MCs, which was wild....but I suppose with 9 guys, it really helped XD But, it also took away from the overall story, since with each guy you got different bits of information.
I am glad I finished this game, and I am looking forward to the sequel/fandisc to see if we actually get some more info on what was going on with some of the guys--and getting some, hopefully, cute stories of the pairings being together.
Outside out of my fave guys routes...IDK that I would really replay this game. I feel like in the long run of things, it's really not important to play all the routes to enjoy the game's conclusion...which wasn't bad, but some of the routes I came out with more questions than answers...
Fave Moment: I think I'd have to go with Itsuki as a cat bringing the girls' into the dream world and then Nanami tickling him 😂
Top LI picks: Ron, Itsuki, Akito, Natsuhiko, Kakeru, Toya, Heishi
