IDW SoundJack. Just felt like being sentimental. Their deaths will always make me sad. But I just know that they'll keep each other company.

This pairing happened because of these songs by Jvke and Jon McLaughlin.

-Energetic AHDHtsim and quiet autism couple

-Wheeljack and Soundwave infodump a lot together. Wheeljack loves to gush about his newest inventions, dinosaurs, Godzilla, and in gen, Science to Soundwave. While Soundwave rambles about Earth music and memes he has picked up on the internet. Will also gush about weird tech stuff to Wheeljack since Wheeljack likes to listen to him.

-Both love analogue horror. Soundwave likes the more psychology analogue horror while Wheeljack likes the ones based more on science. Both heavily enjoy the Godzilla analogue horrors series.

-When Soundwave gets overstim, he will actively seek Wheeljack out or play recordings of Wheeljack's voice to help him calm down. When its the former, Wheeljack will ramble nonsense to help ground Soundwave while Soundwave squeezes his hand or rests his head on Wheeljack's shoulder.

-Wheeljack likes to dip kiss Soundwave. Which is funny depending on the universe (aka Animated with the fact the cons are fucking huge compared to the autobots).

-The cons don't know Soundwave is in a relationship with Wheeljack, while the Autobots are more aware of it. To the point they make Wheeljack bargain with Soundwave since he can get more results.

-Lowkey they give Gomez and Morticia Adams vibes

-They copy each other stims. Wheeljack will sometimes hum the random faint tunes Soundwave hums, while Soundwave will fidget with his hands like Wheeljack.

-Soundwave has used his record and replay ability to poke fun of Wheeljack, but in turn, certain words Wheeljack has said have become vocal stims for Soundwave (like yeehaw hfsjkf).

-Soundwave's minicons like Wheeljack. It did take a bit for them to trust them, but overtime they did. Wheeljack still considers this the highest honor of his life.

Man is still horny, but is too tired to care about fragging. He is sleeping standing up and chugging their equivalent of coffee or high grade energon in a mug and on his third Starscream nonsense, Megatron high off of dark energon trip stress induced overstim meltdown in the medbay that Knockout has made him a screaming corner just for it.

The one time he actually got a frag in a good long while was when Wheeljack, im saying him because it seems in character at least for prime, offered it as a joke and Soundwave in all his tried glory just went “Fuck it, I’m down” catching the wrecker off guard and somehow establishing the two has causal friends with benefits.
