Someone give me a cheesy soulmate plot where (A) always remembers, and is forced to keep it to themselves until (B) is ready to remember. Maybe in some lifetimes it comes in a dream the night before A dies. Maybe sometimes it’s the moments before B dies. Maybe some lifetimes it’s instant, the moment their eyes meet. Others, B only remembers after A dies. (A) knows that in every lifetime their death follows a pattern. Whether it’s always raining, or it’s always on a certain day of the month, or maybe in the same month. But not always at the same age, so for every lifetime, they’re an anxious mess during those circumstances (storms, every January, every Friday the 13th, etc). The only other thing they can guarantee is they won’t die before meeting (B).. just imagine all the lifetimes you can write for them! The 20s, the 70s, the future. Meeting as children. Meeting when they’re well into their 60s. Loosing their soulmate before they’re even old enough to know what it means.. or after a lifetime together. The lifetimes where (B) doesn’t feel romantic feelings for (A) because they don’t remember until it’s too late, and they realize they wasted years with their soulmate by keeping them in the friend zone.
