I'm sure tonight episode of tiu will be great but since I am not a fan of the first love trope (even worse if it's also love at first sight 🙄🙄🙄) I have zero interest on watching an entire episode dedicated to Nicky, Sally, Deja and Malik and their endgames. But I guess these storylines are a way to show us even more that Kevin and his ex wife won't be endgame while Malik and Deja will be it despite their young age because they're very mature and they love each other to the point to go through the long distance; and Nicky will end up with his first love cause he didn't waste his second chance. What I really look forward of tonight episode is the flashforward (hopefully there will be) cause I can't wait anymore to know more about the future, this is the last season after all.... Give me my (old 😛) married kevison with their 10 years old/teenagers twins!!!!

I had to go back and reread some stuff bc honestly, nothing came to mind immediately. There’s not a whole lot of outright jokes in my writing, I’ve found! But here’s some things in no particular order that just make me go :)
1. From a bad things happen bingo prompt fill Shaking and Shivering:
“Matty is going to kill us because you decided you wanted to wreck another rental. This is becoming a bad habit Mac-- like break-Jack’s-phone level bad habit,” he said. “Honestly I think I prefer you breaking my phone,” he tacked on with a grumble.
Mac pulled away layers of fabric and crumbly foam from the car’s headliner. “I’m glad you feel that way, because I’m going to need your phone.”
Jack grouching at Mac about breaking his/other people’s stuff will forever be entertaining to me ahah
2. From my 10th febuwhump prompt fill:
“I got to the room just in time to see She-Hulk toss you over,” Jack said as he leaned over the railing to help Mac up. “Snatched up Olson on the way out too, but Christ, she flung your skinny ass so fast I had to make sure you were okay.”
More Jack dialogue ahah, but “flung” is a very fun word and I need to use it more.
3. From the forth chapter of that 5+1 about Mac and Bozer being dumbass roommates, Esthetics Practical Exam:
“Why does everyone always think the first thing I’m gonna do is make a toaster?”
“Stop making toasters and people will stop assuming that.”
“I’ve only ever made, like, one toaster-- if anything I’ve broken more toasters than I’ve made.”
Okay, genuinely, I wrote this bit of dialogue because this is something I see a lot in fics, where a toaster is one of the first things listed as something Mac could/would make. Is this just something I noticed or like??? What is it with the toasters????? I’m so curious???

Second ask - and don’t feel obligated to answer! Curious about your process - do you have a sense of the story and let the dialog follow the gifs? Or do you look for clips to support your dialog? This latest of Louis was such a good match with body language too!
Ah that’s a great question that I never know the answer to either, to be honest 😅 I think it’s a bit of both? I get a general idea for every part. For part 13, for example, I knew I’d have to have The Voice tease them about what happened in part 12, and I wanted Louis to make that “struggle to handle him at night” reference, so out of the videos I’d already selected for this part I tried to find the right moments to gif. I always watch the videos with sound off, so I can focus more on their body language (including mouth movements) and so what they’re saying doesn’t influence what I had planned for the dialogue. And for Harry’s version of the events in this part, I knew I wanted him to make some sort of innuendo about Louis’... performance the night before, because I remembered his smug face from his Behind The Album film and thought that smirk called for some sort of joke. But what I had imagined didn’t fit his mouth movements at all, so I worked my way around his dialogue with The Voice so it could fit better.

Exactly. No. You say that things to one person; your soulmate. It's not just a bond, is THE bond. And yes they are best friends, but you don't say THAT things to your best friend or your brother. Wtf. XD And I'm a very sensitive person... But that are SO HARD words.
